But for some reason, the Democrats feel they should! Read Sen. James Inhofe’s post at RedState: “Fairness” at the Expense of Freedom? Democratic push for return to Fairness Doctrine is a serious threat to free speech

The Democrats want you to keep silent and not talk

Michelle Malkin’s got some great looking photoshops showing what the Democrats would really like of America’s citizens, provided by Gates of Vienna, Are We Lumberjacks, and a few others

What do you expect from a party with no ethics, who do the wrong thing and are not sorry for it, a party of John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, Bill & Hillary Clinton, William Jefferson, Sandy Berger, Howard Dean, Cynthia McKinney,…

I think the libs think that if they allow the Islamics to come to the US and rule they will allow democrats to be in charge. The fools just don’t get that they will BEHEAD them, not allow them to rule.

    Well spoken BonBon.
We all know that only christian fundamentlists are allowed to rule in God’s chosen country. And the only appropriate way to get rid of dissidents is to burn them at the stake- not beheading! :d

    4.

Matthias, care to name someone who has been burned at the stake in the US by Christains in the recent past, because I sure can name folks that have been beheaded by Islamic Fundamentalist in the recent past. I can probably name 10 for every one that you could.

And even if it has occured, they have been punished by the us justice system and not dcelebrate, like in Islam.

I am getting tired of this moral relevance. You prove nothing with such childish statements. While there are “Christian Fundamentalists” in America whose positions I do not agree with, at least they are civilized enough not to endorse “burning at the stake” of other peoples they don’t agree with.

In Islam, that is not the case.

At the very least, you are justifying one action (beheading) by comparing it to another bad action (burining at the stake) for nothing more than an idealistic reason. Both actions are wrong, but you ignore the beheadings to critisize Christians.

    That’s plain wrong.

I’ve often said that Christian, in their actions and zeal, are oftem their own worse enemy. However, comparing today’s Christianity to today’s Islam is comapring apples to oranges, even when comparing the most fundamentalist sects.

Please cease from making exacuses for them.

Well I’m not exactly sure what you are saying here Matthias but I will say this. In Europe and America the majority populations are white christians. In the south american countries they are hispanic and christians and in the middle eastern countries they are mostly sunnies or shias and they practice Islam. What’s wrong with that? Nothing but I don’t want them TAKING OVER MY COUNTRY and beheading me or making me convert to their religion. Don’t you feel as though I have that right?

I just love how idiot, eurotrash have to go back 1,000 years to find any sort of barbaric behaviour even close to equalling that of TODAY’s muslim animals

    it’s laughable

if you want some better comparisons from more recent times, meine freunde, how about some good ol’ fashioned Jew killing by your countrymen???? or their peaceful march through poland??? How about some nice imperial Japanese slaughters of millions of Chinese?

no, it’s “burning at the stake” that he’s concerned with.

    Mike,

Not only that, Mattias never condemns the taking of hostages by Islamofascists. Oh, that’s right, Mattias is a supporter of “Ah, Mah Dinner Jacket” who took hostages in Iran and held them 444 days.

How can liberals talk about freedoms, then condemn the very people who promote freedom? Its’ treasonous

    17. I know. During the Clinton years I paid dearly but more important if people would open their eyes they would see that all of us paid the price with 9/11. It was not, I don’t care how many ways they spin it, Bush’s fault.

Along the line of thought in this thread I have a friend who is basically not political but very aware. She said if the dems continue to try to pass this kind of legislation she is going to become a muslim bashing activist. Part of that was jest of course but I believe it reflects alot of Americans views that instead of working for terrorism we need to work for Americanism.

“…she is going to become a muslim bashing activist.”

Tell her to bash away, BonBon! Tell her to also start bashing slimebags who sell out America in exchange for perceived short-term political gain, too!

I never would have dreamed, in my lifetime, that one of the two major political parties would turn treasonous. By the time I was in my early 20s I began to see serious philosophical differences I had with Liberalism, but never could I have imagined a major party could turn openly treasonous!

Robert….she has been bashing away and it’s funny to hear her talk :x

I couldn’t agree with you more. For some naive reason I always believed that the only difference between the two parties was philosophical as well. We believed in less taxes, less government and they believed the opposite. In my mind this was harmless in the big picture and was good because it gave way to a debate where the laws came out fair.

Nowadays its a different game and with each passing day and each piece of legislation it becomes clearer and clearer that the democraps do not have the interests of America at heart. They seem to only care about power, political clout, revenge, and sucking up to an enemy in a way that will cause great harm to our way of life. I find that to be outrageous and heartbreaking. :-?

I had a clue about the stupidity of liberals when I went with my parents to pick up my cousins at the airport everytime they returned from a tour in Vietnam. One was a highly decorated Marine platoon sergeant. I don’t know exactly how many times he ended up busting heads at one of the local bars, but I’d almost bet he had to replace more than a few chairs, tables and windows from all of the morons who would start a fight with him. In rural Ohio, service members could do no wrong at the time.

I got a solid understanding of their idiocy when I sat through a lecture by Ramsey Clark at a symposium my freshman year of college. It was right around the time of the Iran Hostage crisis and after he had gone to Iran in violation of a presidential ban on travel there. The naive nature of his remarks were so ludicrous that I thought I was listening to a kindergarten teacher instead of a former attorney general of the US.
