I agree with you 100%. It easy to break down any wacko extremist arguement though, including the average liberal’s arguements.

Yeah- Freepers are amazing aren’t they? Democratic Underground is another extreme sight you should do the same to. Lurking there is hilarious too- DU’s have a pretty twisted view of the world. Those two sites are my fav’s for doing that.

American public opinion has gone back to a 49/51 split regarding the war since Patreus has taken over and there is good news regarding progress, which is a trend I predicted. If the Septemeber report is good, then that trend will continue.

It isn’t that folks are against this war- it is that folks are against the way it is being handled.

Couple this with the horrible rastings Congress is getting and I wouldn’t be too confident if I were you regarding that margin getting larger, or even existing.

Regarding the Presidential Candidate- I agree that the Republican feild is weak. However, the Democrat feild is even weaker. History has shown (specifically the last 2 Presidential elections) what happens when this is the case- in both instances the Republucans won.

Your party has a tough row to hoe here SFL, especially since you have a minority and a woman as your two front runners. I just don’t see the win you are predicting, especially if Guiliani (a social liberal that would sap left leaning moderate votes from the Dems) gets the nod for Republicans.

The Conservative Movement of the 80’s/90’s is in shambles, or at the very least, weakened into a shadow of its former self…

The Iraq War is exactly the way opposition Liberals said it would be since the begining – wastefull and useless.

Liberals control both houses of congress with a slim majority, that will only get LARGER with the next election. Yes, larger.

The Democrats are practicaly getting the White House handed to them on a platter by none other than George W. Bush for his incompatence and irresponsibility.
