35 minutes of that was in the cell, the other 47 minues were spent in booking. A waste of time and money! You can expect Sharpton to be angry!

Yes, I am sure Al is angry. That negro minority woman experiencing such horrors of injustice.

p.s If ‘RightVoices’ has turned into some bullshit E! TV network, I have to ask, why do you even give a flying ‘F’ about what Nicole Richie is doing?

1, because “celebrities” like her, Paris Hilton, and Lindsay Lohan are perverting justice and the rule of law with their antics and not taking their medicine.

TT- most people get the fact that when I put the words “I must”, prior to a post, that there was a reason that I did it, and not for the E factor.

Yes, Al should be mad…82 minutes is a joke, that is, unless you can find me other examples of the exact same sentence…

Does anyone actually think that this is about celebrity (or race) rather than class?

    Class? What “class”?

Oh the wonderful world of liberal judges who mandate that jails must be a pleasurable esxperience free of overcrowding. Of course being rich and famous didn’t hurt either. Sheriff Joe solved his overcrowding problem. He’s got acres of desert, and when he needs more beds, he throws up another tent, and unfolds some cots. His attitude is that if it’s good enough for our soldiers in combat, it’s good enough for the criminal scum in our society.

You are all forgetting that Nicole Richie is at least part black. Al should be jumping with joy that a sister spent more time in booking than in a cell. Personally, it’s a travesty, and a tragedy. Same with Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and all of these pop tarts who are now adults and have no idea how to act like one.

If they don’t want to incarcerate them, they should at least commit them to an inpatient rehab center to try and dry them out. If they’re committed to a rehab center, they can’t leave and they should have VERY controlled visitation. Make sure nothing drug wise comes through the door.

Another response–the libertarian, and thus genuinely conservative, one–would be to look at the absurdity of prosecuting consensual crimes in the first place.

Why should I care if Paris, or Nicole, or L.L. are coked out of their minds? As long as someone else is driving their limos for them, let them have their fun.

If I did what she did I would be sent to prison for 99 years but who Cares how long she was in jail, its jail not prison, and face facts she is well known by many.

That Hosten is the most lucid comment from you I have read, and I concur. The problem is that theses little twits don’t have someone drive them around from party to party, they insist on driving themselves, thereby endangering everyone else on the road.

I personally don’t care if they want to kill themselves, as long as the don’t insist on trying to take someone else with them.

Amen FAO…They can afford the limo, but drive instead!
