This is further evidence the Democrat party hates America and sides with terrorists, any terrorists.
There are a couple of ways of looking at this.
1: Was the guy actually just a stupid kid (20 something) who made some bad decisions and paid for them?
2: Was he actually a terrorist who managed to avoid prosecution for his acts?
The real thing to consider is what has he done during the intervening years? I would be hesitant to allow him a high level position not because of his previously supposed terrorist connections as much as his previous real felony conviction.
