Reportedly there to arm and train Al Quaeda terrorists, the military officer was definitely on the WRONG side of the border for a reason. I think I'd turn him over to the Kurds and have them interrogate him. While the Kurds have fewer reasons to like the Sunnis than they do to hate them, they have even fewer reasons to be gentle to an Iranian. Collect the intel from this bozo and then do covert strikes against the targets he ids.
