Big Shocker: Clinton campaign kills negative story
Early this summer, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign for president learned that the men’s magazine GQ was working on a story the campaign was sure to hate: an account of infighting in Hillaryland.
So Clinton’s aides pulled a page from the book of Hollywood publicists and offered GQ a stark choice: Kill the piece, or lose access to planned celebrity coverboy Bill Clinton.
Despite internal protests, GQ editor Jim Nelson met the Clinton campaign’s demands, which had been delivered by Bill Clinton’s spokesman, Jay Carson, several sources familiar with the conversations said.
GQ writer George Saunders traveled with Clinton to Africa in July, and Clinton is slated to appear on the cover of GQ’s December issue, in which it traditionally names a “Man of the Year,” according magazine industry sources.
And the offending article by Atlantic Monthly staff writer Josh Green got the spike.
“I don’t really get into the inner workings of the magazine, but I can tell you that yes, we did kill a Hillary piece. We kill pieces all the time for a variety of reasons,” Nelson said in an e-mail to Politico.
You can run, but you can’t hide. It is way too early to react to this type of behavior. When thetime is right, this will all come back to bite her. In usual the usual Clintonesque fashion, it will be those mean old Republicans picking on her!

Funny isn’t it that the “Path to 9/11″ miniseries that the Clintons fought so hard to suppress hasn’t been released on video, nor is it slated to be. Despite being the highest rated program for the nights it aired. Normally the DVD would’ve been out within 90 days for a miniseries that popular, but it isn’t even scheduled for release, much to the chagrin of the writer/director who is slated to receive a substantial percentage of the DVD sales.

4, SFL, all for censorship when you’re doing the censoring, eh? You are just another totalitarian trying to look all warm, fuzzy, and loving when you aren’t. The truth hurts you libs, and we all notice when you take a powder because you are on the wrong side of an issue and can’t admit it.

#5…wrong again, guy.
I don’t advocate censorship at all.
Let the crappy show be shown…I don’t care.
Just put a disclaimer in front of it saying that the show is mostly fiction.
As far as DVD sales…I can only image Wal-Mart carrying this kind of garbage.
