Time to Boycott Miller Beer again!
Organizers of San Francisco’s Folsom Street Fair — (content warning) sponsored by Miller Brewing Co. — have portrayed Christ and his disciples as half-naked homosexual sadomasochists in the event’s promotional advertisement, and the conservative group Concerned Women for America is complaining about the hypocrisy of it.
“The bread and wine representing Christ’s broken body and lifegiving blood are replaced with sadomasochistic sex toys in this twisted version of Da Vinci’s The Last Supper,” CWA said on its Web site.
“‘Gay’ activists disingenuously call Christians ‘haters’ and ‘homophobes’ for honoring the Bible, but then lash out in this hateful manner toward the very people they accuse,” said said Matt Barber, CWA’s policy director for cultural issues.
“In their version of The Last Supper, Christ, Who gave His life for our sins, is despicably replaced by sin itself as the object of worship.”
CWA is calling on California politicians — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sens. Feinstein and Boxer among them — to “publicly condemn this unprovoked attack against Christ and His followers.
“We further challenge the media to cover this affront to Christianity with the same vigor as recent stories about cartoon depictions of Mohammed and other items offensive to the Muslim community,” CWA said.
Miller Brewing is sponsoring this, therefore, they own it.

4, well, tofu, Pam’s boycott can be just as successful as your boycotts, tofu.
Well, I can’t boycott Miller Brewing, because, since I like beer, I already avoid all its products. *heh* (Why drink stuff that tastes like water filtered through a sick horse, anyway, when good beer is readily available elsewhere? And not from Annheiser Busch, either.)
Nevertheless, your point that the “gay” (wrongly called: more like “angry, unhappy, neurotic homosexual spewers of hate and irrationality”) slanders of Christianity are way, way out of hand is well taken. Still, remember what the Founder said of such things,
John 15: 18 “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.”
That, of course, is not the only passage where The Nazarene warned his follwers that were they to be faithful not all would be well with their experiences in this life…
Turn it around a bit: if those whose lives are filled with lies, deciet, all manner of perversion (oh, politicians *spit* and Mass Media Podpeople, for example) were to speak positively of Christ, Christians, the Bible, etc., THEN Christians should look at their own lives with dismay, repent and turn their lives around, eh?
