My brother is an attorney and he told me that in these lawsuits, the defendants' attorneys will depose Rather endlessly. They will turn him inside out. They will question him until he can't take it anymore. And so much dirt will come out about the forged papers and the entire fraud that by the time he realizes he won't prevail Rather will wish he had never opened Pandora's box. The destruction of his "legacy" will be complete. He will only reap the destruction he sowed. I can see this quite clearly. It is as predictable as my early assessment and prediction of the outcome of the alleged Duke rape case was. Dan Rather has placed himself into history's toilet. Now he is about to flush it.
