Kennedy Explains Why DoD Bill Is Place For Gay Terrorism

Doesn’t it seem odd that they would put this legislation in a bill that funds Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell? This should be vetoed.

“The defense authorization is about dealing with the challenges of terrorism overseas…This (bill) is about terrorism in our neighborhood,” said Sen. Edward Kennedy of Massachusetts, the chief Democratic sponsor. “We want to fight terrorism here at home with all of our weapons.”

Rather than put forth the DoD bill as it should be, the Democrats once again waste time and money on their social legislation. Too bad they don’t put that much effort into fighting the GWOT.

  1. Too bad it isn’t a crime for a Kennedy to legislate while intoxicated.

  2. If we really want to fight terrorism at home, we can start by denying all intoxicants to the entire Kennedy family.

  3. FIGHT TERRORISM IMPEACH ALL KENNEDYS=:)

  4. Exactly what makes a “hate” crime different from any other crime? Does it make a damn bit of difference to the person who had their teeth kicked in if you called them a derogatory name while planting your steel toed work boot in their teeth? Why don’t we stop wasting time trying to make up idiotic categories of crimes and simply convict and punish those people who commit them? Why should it make a bit of difference if the person who assaulted someone was a racist or homophobe? They’re a violent asshole who needs to be locked in a dank dark cell with a big horny cell mate named Bubba for a few years. Maybe if we spent our time and money on treating the causes of crime (poor schools, and lack of morals) and punishing those who don’t listen or won’t learn (recidivists) instead of this kind of idiotic BS, we might actually have LESS crime for EVERYONE!!!

  5. BTW we have a big hullabaloo going on here in Phoenix because a bar owner in Scottsdale banned a bunch of transvestites from HIS bar because they were hanging out in the women’s room and frightening the female patrons. Unfortunately, the city is probably going to force him to allow them back in his bar. So much for freedom of association. The trannies are allowed to associate with anyone they want, whether the other people want them there or not. Even if they’re actions are interfering with a businessman’s ability to conduct business. For those who are interested, there are a number of gay and transvestite bars in the Phoenix area where these people could go without attracting attention to themselves. They refused to use the men’s room because the male patrons were gawking and taking their pictures with cell phones. While I won’t judge them on their lifestyle as that is their choice. To disrupt a man’s business and expect him to alienate 40+% of his clientele to accomodate less than 2% is unacceptable.

  6. FAO =d>

Had Matthew Shepard been a heterosexual male, would his death have been any less heinous? May the young man rest in peace. He didn’t deserve to be killed period. People are killed in brutal fashions every week in this country, and it doesn’t appear to favor gays. As it stands, the attackers, Henderson, serving 2 life sentences, and McKinney, life without parole because Shepard parents cut a deal with the prosecuters when the death penalty became a reality. They didn’t want their son’s attacker to be put to death. So where will a hate crime fit into this case? Is it in name only?

  7. Hate crimes, by Leftist definition, can only be committed by white males.
