I’ve been saying this for months.

Rudy won’t win the Oval Office because the Fundies on the Right just won’t come out in large numbers to vote for him like they did for Bush.

The Republican Revolution of 1994 is over.

Eben #1, yes, Hillary is an outstanding choice; If you want to put a Marxist-Oligarchist into the White House.

She’s a Marxist when it comes to managing the sheeple; they are nothing more than worker ants. They don’t need to trouble their undersized brains with any thoughts beyond their mundane sphere of existence. She and her ilk will make all important decisions, and the sheeple will abide by them.

But for the privileged few, the oligarchs, there is a different set of rules. We see the basis and acceptance of this in the overt set of double-standards applied to everything by the Democrites. While the people are regulated and controlled to the nth degree, the oligarchists will have no such bounds.

You should get out of your car and spend 3 hours to get each way to work on a city bus because you are causing Global warming. While the oligarchist hypocrites fly in their private jets.

More and more cities are restricting or banning the use of firepaces in residences because of pollution. A warm fire has been a source of heat and comfort to families since the cave men. Do you think when they are banned Hillary and her fellow oligarchists will have fires in their fireplaces? of course they will, and they’ll enjoy them all the more because they know they are special.

The oligarchists and hypocrites are not limited to one side of the aisle, but next time arch-Ecofraud Al Gore wags his finger at you and tells you you are causing Global warming, or HilLiary puts on her populist facade, or John Edwards blathers about his Two Americas nonsense, just remember you are being absolutley lied to by Elitist, Oligarchist, Hypocritical A-Holes.

And if you can’t recognize it and figure it out for yourself, you are a babbling idiot and probably shouldn’t vote.

Being of the “Christian Right” so to speak, I believe Dobson to be wrong. I may or may not ultimately vote for Rudy, but I know I will not support any third party canidate, handing the election to the left without even a good fight and watching our society sink even lower than now. I do also support Fred Thompson, even with all of his faults.

An interesting historical fact: liberal idealogy is a leading reason for the downfall of civilizations historically. This is a fact among socialologists. This is why extreme liberalism is scary.

That said- I do believe that there are some liberal ideas that are needed in society, but once liberalism takes over a governemet in a permane3nt sense it will lead to the downfall of that society.

Eben- that is an interesting take. I respect your point of view and will remind you that many people are like Ted and myself. We don’t let them dictate who we will vote for. On the flip side of that, although “liberal” philosophy is not a religion, I do look to them as a danger to our society, in that they are eroding all the principals that this country was founded on. That is basically where middle America stands as well.
