The NYT’s Devotes Two Columns Of Hate Toward Justice Clarence Thomas

Frank Rich and Maureen Dowdy both go for character assassination rather than fact based claims against Justice Thomas.

Maureens piece speaks for itself. She is an attention whore that is not capable of discussing a subject, therefore she spews the ignorance, but hey, at least you are looking at her…it’s all she really wants. In her piece you learn that Thomas got his job because of “poppy”, and Clarence cost Al Gore the election..

Fine. I did it. Everything A. said — let’s just use the initial because it’s still hard for me to speak the name of my victim and tormentor — was true.

I did what I had to do and I didn’t care if it ruined A.’s life. I didn’t even care if people thought it was obscene.

I knew I was misusing my position, but I enjoyed having that kind of raw power over A. and saying the things I said. It made me tingle all over. I’m not going to deny that.

The liberals have turned A. into an icon. Give me a break. We are talking about a world-class know-it-all — someone prissy, uptight and no fun.

Not the sort of person I’d like to tailgate with, listen to Marvin Gaye with, share Ripple or a Scotch and Drambuie or a blackberry brandy with — if I were still drinking.

Not the kind, like my wife, Ginny, I’d bring along on an expedition in my custom-made motor home — those idyllic times when I get away from the meanness in Washington. Can you imagine that stiff A. spending the night in a Wal-Mart parking lot or hanging at a truck stop?

No Maureen, I could never imagine that. I’m still trying to figure out why your employer thought they could charge people to read your work, I see that didn’t work out too well.

Rich tries to assert that Justice Thomas is misrepresenting his past.

This could be seen most vividly on “60 Minutes,” when he revisited a parable about the evils of affirmative action that is also a centerpiece of his memoir: his anger about the “tainted” degree he received from Yale Law School. In Mr. Thomas’s account, he stuck a 15-cent price sticker on his diploma after potential employers refused to hire him. By his reckoning, a Yale Law graduate admitted through affirmative action, as he was, would automatically be judged inferior to whites with the same degree. The “60 Minutes” correspondent, Steve Kroft, maintained that Mr. Thomas had no choice but to settle for a measly $10,000-a-year job (in 1974 dollars) in Missouri, working for the state’s attorney general, John Danforth.

What “60 Minutes” didn’t say was that the post was substantial — an assistant attorney general — and that Mr. Danforth was himself a Yale Law graduate. As Mr. Danforth told the story during the 1991 confirmation hearings and in his own book last year, he traveled to New Haven to recruit Mr. Thomas when he was still a third-year law student. That would be before he even received that supposedly worthless degree. Had it not been for Yale taking a chance on him in the first place, in other words, Mr. Thomas would never have had the opportunity to work the Yalie network to jump-start his career and to ascend to the Supreme Court. Mr. Danforth, a senator in 1991, was the prime mover in shepherding the Thomas nomination to its successful conclusion.

Orin Kerr does a terriffic job of pointing out where Rich fails to make his case.

Of course if Thomas was an approved, Democrite plantation-dwelling black man, none of this would be happening. Any criticism would be immediately termed racism.

But Thomas got out of his chains and dared to venture off the plantation. He began expressing his own opinions, something that is simply not tolerated for those whom the Democrites view as their beneficiaries.

When Thomas was nominated to the SC, the Democrites had to act decisively. They brought in Anita Hill, who was so firmly enslaved on the Democrite virtual plantation she was willing to say anything and she did. Her (documented) lies in the long run revealed more about her character and the character of her puppet masters than about Clarence Thomas.

Having failed in their disgraceful smear campaign to punish Thomas and keep him off the court, the Plantation Masters even years later cannot refrain from allowing their hatred to boil over. Thomas was in the news recently; this must have sparked the attack by long-known pos Maureen Dowd and this Frank Rich lackey. They just can’t keep their hate under control.

I hate the NYT to the core, and I hate the Democrite leadership. It is degenerate, treasononous, and now run by Soros funding, is a direct threat to the existence of America. Perhaps hate is not a strong enough word for how I feel about today’s Democrite leadership.

Clarence Thomas is something the Democrat liberal world can’t stand. A black man who actually thinks for himself, does not parrot the “Jesse Jackson-Al Sharpton We are your Messiah, do as we say” leftist party line.

Hill was and is nothing but a lying slut, who is so entrenched in the party line, that she is no longer able to separate the truth from what she was brainwashed into believing. She is the Democrats plantation n_____ exactly what the party propaganda machine calls Clarence “A REAL BLACKMAN” Thomas.

    Howdy, ya’ll

Sorry I’m so late, but I’ve been setting up a site for someone who has about as much knowledge about blogger.com as I had about it when I first started. Wow. That brings back so many memories! I’ll never forget the time I forgot to save the template BEFORE I tried playing with it. [...]

(Haloscan keeps telling me I already pinged you. That’s odd, since I just added you! lol)
