According to Congressman Waxman’s website: Evidence of Tax Evasion by Blackwater. Too bad the truth differs from his wishes. As the website On Deadline points out:
Blackwater spokeswoman Anne Tyrrell said in an e-mail statement to the Associated Press that Blackwater has appealed the IRS ruling and that no determination has been made. Further, she said, the U.S. Small Business Administration has told the company that Blackwater security guards do not have to be classified as company employees.
“It is unfortunate that the chairman has relied upon a one-sided description of the issue to color public perception without all the facts being presented,” Tyrrell said.
An IRS spokeswoman declined to comment on the case, as is custom to protect privacy.
So the IRS can’t comment on an ongoing case in order to protect privacy, but Congressman Waxman can?

We are seeing incredible things coming out of Congress these days. Strange initiatives to anger allies (Turkey), attacks on the civil rights of private citizens for exercising their free speech (Limbaugh), and now this attack on a private company that is doing a tremendously dangerous and necessary job.
They are totally out of control, these mentally-ill degenerates who are doing this. We live in very, very strange times.
