Kos: A Simple Way to End the War on Terror ‘adopt Islam as our new faith’
I can’t make this stuff up! What about that freedom of religion, or all of us women that will become second class citizens. Hey, no more gays, right? But it will end the WTO!

And why not? If the libbies get their way this is exactly what our country will be like. The United States of Islam complete with Shia law. That may cause a problem for them in the end because I really don’t think the democratic leaders see this coming. Talk about being shortsighted.
October 26, 2007 - 09:55 AM on October 26th, 2007
1, Just think of the consequences.
Eben and Tofu would be killed by the Sharia Police, maybe even Mattias as what country could withstand Islam after the US falls?
SFL, will find his life and choices sharply curtailed. Him being a self-professed athiest will have a choice, convert or die.
October 26, 2007 - 01:39 PM on October 26th, 2007
This reminds me of SFL’s take on the superfires.
October 26, 2007 - 01:51 PM on October 26th, 2007
3, and just where am I wrong given the Kos Clown wants to surrender to Islam?
SFL lives in a concrete jungle and would be lost in a small farm field without a cell phone, a GPS, and a latte.
October 26, 2007 - 02:09 PM on October 26th, 2007
“…women that will become second class citizens. Hey, no more gays, right?”
So let’s rather have it the Republican way and declare gays to “re-educable perverts” with a second class right to marry (in San Francisco, Key West and Greenwich Village only)- that’s a superior civilization!
Besides.. I wonder how christianity would be perceived, if I used quotes by Warren Jeffs as its common representative..
.
October 26, 2007 - 02:42 PM on October 26th, 2007
Republican way? Where did you get that? The votes in the states that have marriage bans against gays show that this is a bipartisan issue.
Are you saying that denying the rights to marry is the same as an established law to kill them because they are gay?
October 27, 2007 - 01:10 AM on October 27th, 2007
Daily Kos, as unofficial voice of the severely mentally ill, is as good a spokesman as any for the mood of the kooks.
This is apparently what they have already decided, surrender and capitulation. I could see this two years ago when I suggested anti-WOT Leftists be forced to wear yellow burkhas in public.
Well the rest of us rational, clear-thinking, real Americans won’t be surrendering. I suggest we pack up the Leftists and send them over to the Islamofascists to be judged according to Sharia Law. They apparently love Islamofascism so much surely the Lefties wouldn’t mind!
October 27, 2007 - 07:12 AM on October 27th, 2007
The left will be the first to start crying when the rocks start flying.
October 27, 2007 - 12:48 PM on October 27th, 2007
And the left are complete atheists they reject all kinds of relgion i mean the reds were the biggist persicuters just look at the former USSR and RED CHINA and what about what CUBA dose to christians that the lineral left-wing news media will never tell you

6 “Are you saying that denying the rights to marry is the same as an established law to kill them because they are gay?”
No, I don’t but, a “little discrimination” is still discrimination. Mocking Iranian treatment of homosexual as an American conservative reminds me a little bit of this “throwing the first stone” story…
October 29, 2007 - 09:07 AM on October 29th, 2007
Well, Matthias, even your explanation leaves one to believe that you feel that way. Itis you that is okay with the killing of homosexuals. Last time I checked, Republican’s and Democrats were allowingthem to live their lives without fear of death.
October 29, 2007 - 09:39 AM on October 29th, 2007
14, Pam, we have seen Mattias ignore the left or muslims mass killings before. Remember Mattias luke warm condemnations of Saddam’s mass killings when we cornered him on that subject.

16, sorry for the misread.
October 29, 2007 - 01:23 PM on October 29th, 2007
The anti-war Leftists and BHDS misfits that want to surrender should be issued pink or yellow burkhas and be required to wear them in public.

No worries.

14- “Last time I checked, Republican’s and Democrats were allowingthem to live their lives without fear of death.”
WOW!!! How generous of you!?
But a little whacking, when nobody looks should be allowed, right? Sexual “re-education” is recommended… and some insulting is always okay… right buddies?
October 30, 2007 - 08:39 AM on October 30th, 2007
Yes it is generous. Are you now claiming that masturbation is illegal or that there is an amendment against it? Who in the government is calling for “re-education”?
October 30, 2007 - 08:51 AM on October 30th, 2007
21- “Are you now claiming that masturbation is illegal or that there is an amendment against it?”
WHACKING… not wanking..
“Who in the government is calling for “re-educationâ€?”
Nobody in the government, but I already had discussions on this site with conservatives, that really believed that either homosexuality is a “free-will decision to do naughty things” or a kind a illness that can be cured.
Not to mention a report that I saw on a conservative movement that claimed to brainwash gays…
October 30, 2007 - 08:57 AM on October 30th, 2007
“Whacking” is an Ame3rican slang term for masterbation, specifically “whacking off”.
“Wanking” is the Brit term.
“I already had discussions on this site with conservatives, that really believed that either homosexuality is a “free-will decision to do naughty things”or a kind a illness that can be cured.”
Do you have proof otherwise?
The most recent studies contribute true homosexuality (that is, actions not due to a concscience decision) to chemical imbalances in the brain.
At this point, there is no proof one way or the other.
October 30, 2007 - 09:09 AM on October 30th, 2007
23- “”Whacking”is an Ame3rican slang term for masterbation, specifically “whacking offâ€.”
I always knew, there were some valuable things I might learn from American conservatives!!!
“At this point, there is no proof one way or the other.”
Is there any “proof” required?
Your conservatism is to me equally strange as homosexuality (sorry SFL, don’t wanna insult you!), nevertheless I do not get the urge to “cure” you nor to investigate what’s wrong with you… I simply accept that you are different!
October 30, 2007 - 09:18 AM on October 30th, 2007
“I always knew, there were some valuable things I might learn from American conservatives!!!”
Undoubtedly, as your posts are generally monuments of ignorance.
“Is there any “proof”required?”
Yes, there is.
In all seriousness- this is a joke, right? Are facts that inconsequential to you?
October 30, 2007 - 09:36 AM on October 30th, 2007
25- “Yes, there is. In all seriousness- this is a joke, right?”
Oh sorry, I thought you people meant it seriously when you referred to your country as the cradle of liberty…
In my county (which does not try to persuade the rest of the world of its “wonderfulness”) nobody cares about your sexual orientation- it is a individual private matter that is protected by our constitution.
October 30, 2007 - 09:49 AM on October 30th, 2007
“Oh sorry, I thought you people meant it seriously when you referred to your country as the cradle of liberty:”
Ahhh, jealousy. That explains it. We don’t
Yes, this country is the cradle of liberty, the most free country in the world.
“In my county (which does not try to persuade the rest of the world of its “wonderfulnessâ€)”
We don’t. We just state it as a matter of fact, even with the current issues we are having.
“it is a individual private matter that is protected by our constitution.”
Sure. The same rights apply here- one is allowed to choose whatever sexual orientation one wishes. It is not against the law to be homosexual.
October 30, 2007 - 09:51 AM on October 30th, 2007
You people are of your fucking rockers if you think a fourth-rate military like Iran and a samll, weak band of islamic terrorists are going to overthrow the US government or even get close enough to making conditions ripe for a takeover.
You people are so fucking scared and afraid of these weaklings, that it is very unbecoming of Americans.
Get some fucking spine people; islamic terrorists aren’t going to hurt you, your family or take over your nation.
October 30, 2007 - 09:51 AM on October 30th, 2007
27- “Sure. The same rights apply here- one is allowed to choose whatever sexual orientation one wishes. It is not against the law to be homosexual.”
So why do you demand some kind of research or proof on something that is non of your business (unless you were homosexual yourself)???
October 30, 2007 - 09:53 AM on October 30th, 2007
Oh, and FTR, I never made that claim initially, but I concur that it is the truth. We are called “The land of the free and the home of the brave.” for a reason, and historically is is proven to be correct…Unlike “Land of the goosestepper and home of the genocidist”.
I can see why, with a countries history such as yours, you SHOULD be jealous.
October 30, 2007 - 10:02 AM on October 30th, 2007
30- “Unlike “Land of the goosestepper and home of the genocidist”
I’m afraid you’ll have to explain me this “goosestepper” (honestly, it’s a language gap on my side)…
And regarding the genocidist, I guess we’ll have to ask some chinese-origin, afro- and native Americans what they think who scores more on the “dark side”…
October 30, 2007 - 10:07 AM on October 30th, 2007
“So why do you demand some kind of research or proof on something that is non of your business (unless you were homosexual yourself)???”
I never demanded any kind of proof- you brought the point up and as a result proof is required before one can make factual claim one way or the other as you attempted to do so. That is why the facts are important. I simply stated the fact that there is no proof one way or the other to support either stance.
October 30, 2007 - 10:09 AM on October 30th, 2007
“Get some fucking spine people; islamic terrorists aren’t going to hurt you, your family or take over your nation.”
Hmmm…I wonder if the families of the 3000 people killed on 9/11 feel that way. Besides, this alone isn’t justification- you take the stance “It isn’t going to happen to me, just people over seas so why should I care?”
It is a callous stance to take.
October 30, 2007 - 10:16 AM on October 30th, 2007
33- “Hmmm:I wonder if the families of the 3000 people killed on 9/11 feel that way.”
But you do not wonder, how 3800 other families (not to mention the relatives of the handicapped veterans) are feeling right now- do you?
October 30, 2007 - 10:32 AM on October 30th, 2007
Are you telling us we don’t think of them? How do you know what we do Matthias? Have you ever stopped to listen to both sides? Nope…you have enough problems justifying your own ignorance…
October 30, 2007 - 10:34 AM on October 30th, 2007
33.
Yes I do. Everyday.
I have family there, my nephew (who I raised like my own son) is in the Army Corp of Engineers. He will be deployed to Iraq in a few months.
My son is in the Navy, and I don’t know where he is.
As a member of the Sons of the Veterns of Foreign Wars (my father served in Korea and is a Silver Star and 3 time Purple Heart receipiant) I honor our veterns both living and dead NOT kust on Memorial and Veterns Days.
So yes, I think about it every day. You sir, assume way too much and have firmly placed your ignorant foot within your ignorant mouth.
October 30, 2007 - 11:42 AM on October 30th, 2007
28, SFL, you are the typical selfish, brain-dead Democrat who will say it can’t happen to me, so you can’t protect yourself from it. Well, dumdum, it will happen, especially if people like you are successful in interfering with the efforts to stop Iran from getting the bomb. Don’t fool yourself that not listening to phone calls and internet messages from terrorists is noble and nothing will happen to you. 9/11 happened because the Clintons, like you, didn’t want to confront and deal with the terrorists no matter what the provocation.
I did see people say do nothing in response to 9/11. They were rightfully ignored, as you shall be.
October 31, 2007 - 07:59 AM on October 31st, 2007
36- “Yes I do. Everyday.”
With my knowledge about you people kind of thinking and your evaluation of facts, I don’t dare to ask, if it was worth to sacrifice 3.800 lives at a place without WMDs and more terror taking place after the war and no real connections to 9/11, for the 3.000 victims who died then…
But (as I said at some occasions before), with the oil price at its peak and increased defense company stock prices, there was some good reason to do what was done- at least to some people!

October 31, 2007 - 11:01 AM on October 31st, 2007
“With my knowledge about you people kind of thinking and your evaluation of facts…”
You mean the clear evaluation of those facts? At least I take the time to evaluate them Matthias. You have given no indication that you do.
“I don’t dare to ask, if it was worth to sacrifice 3.800 lives at a place without WMDs and more terror taking place after the war and no real connections to 9/11, for the 3.000 victims who died then:”
If those were exclusively the facts on the table, then the answer would be no.
However you do not accurately portray the facts, and that is the real issue here. The way you do Iraq may as well be Sweden, which isn’t the case at all. Hussein’s Iraq was a known and proven nation state that supported terrorist organizations. They attempted assination of a President. Even worst than this, they (the Hussein regime) supressed , tortured and killed tens of thousands of their own people. And before you attempt to draw some moral equivilence between that last sentence post ira, don’t make the attempt. I’ve seen it a hundred time and the argument is specious at best.
Have those lives been sacrificed? Perhaps, but that is the price all people pay for the freedom we have. Those men and women (my son and nephew included) chose to make that sacrifice. It isn’t your sacrifice, my sacrifice or the governement’s sacrifice. That is an arrogance of others I do not understand. It is theirs alone.
Matthias, even your freedom was paid for in the lives of the men who fought for it.
October 31, 2007 - 11:49 AM on October 31st, 2007
Surrender to Islam could never happen here? Read Allen Drury’s series of novels starting with “Advise And Consent”. Written during the cold war, so the villain is the USSR, but eerie parallels.

338: “But (as I said at some occasions before), with the oil price at its peak and increased defense company stock prices, there was some good reason to do what was done- at least to some people!”
Uh YEAH, man, the war was just to get their oil, man! Now, if they would only give me some of that oil, with gas back to 3 bucks per gallon. ..
October 31, 2007 - 02:03 PM on October 31st, 2007
BTW I saw a bumper sticker that said “Reublicans = $3 gas”.
Really? The Republicans:
Stopped energy exploration and drilling offshore and in ANWRA?
Have obstructed any new use of nuclear power since the 1970s, which alone could end most of our energy problems?
Have concocted stupid “environmental” regulations that do nothing to help the envionment while costing money and in many cases exacerbating they problms they purpiort to solve?
No, the truth is all of the above are the domain of the Democrites.
But no doubt there are some mindless morons out there who vote (Democrite) on the basis of bumper stickers and sound bytes who doltishly nodded their heads in agreement with that sticker.
November 1, 2007 - 12:27 AM on November 1st, 2007
Actually with the way things are going, and the Dems plans should Hillary win, a more accurate bumper sticker would be Democrats = $5/gallon Gas, and no job to pay for it. One of the Dems is already proposing a 50 cent/gallon global warming tax. How stupid can you be? Another wants to add an additional 35 cent/gallon tax to fund roadway/bridge construction. Never mind the BILLIONS that they currently collect and blow on things like bike paths, hiking trails and light rail. I don’t even want to go into the boondoggle that is the impending light rail line here in Phoenix. Billions of dollars spent, businesses uprooted or shuttered, streets under construction for years, all to put in a train that will average less than 30 mph, and is almost guaranteed to be involved in at least one red light running accident a month. While the lights may change to allow the train to whisk through the intersection at a blazing 26 MPH, there will be no gates to stop the red light running fools in this city from running right into or in front of the train.
November 1, 2007 - 06:03 AM on November 1st, 2007
41-”If those were exclusively the facts on the table, then the answer would be no.”
So please deliver me that fact that Saddam’s terrorism is substantially responsible for 9/11. In the end the justification for all US anti-terror efforts and the Iraq war is primarilly based upon this incident.
I think, to most of my arguments on this site I was blamed to compare apples and oranges, but if 3800 people are sacrified with a claimed relation to a matter of 3000 other victims and there IS NO DIRECT CONNECTION between those two things, I call that arbitrariness!
November 1, 2007 - 06:09 AM on November 1st, 2007
46, Mattias, since you are too stupid to listen to anyone else, why should we bother to explain it to you once again??/
At this point, Pam, I think Mattias needs a long time out.
November 1, 2007 - 08:05 AM on November 1st, 2007
FAO right as usual and I recall just the other day hearing that Demoidiots do want to raise gasoline tax to lessen demand…huh? I don’t know too many people (actually none) including myself who have not eliminated all unnecessary driving long ago.
I guess we can just quit driving to work from now on? Would that solve the problem?
If ANWRA drilling had started when when Bush took office, that oil would be online right now.
What F’ing idiots, babbling morons, microcephalic cretins are running this Nation…
November 1, 2007 - 08:18 AM on November 1st, 2007
48, Robert, but the same whackos have blocked all new refinery construction and expansion. There is no place in the US to refine more oil if it were available.

51- “your posts truly show an ignorance of view. Please, either listen to whats being told to you or shut up.”
Yes, to people who sacrifice 3800 people (not to mention the 5-digit civilian casualties in Iraq) due to a problem (=terrorism) which never caused such a large amount of victims my view is probably ignorant…
If some of you people had listened a little bit earlier to the rest of the sane world, a lot of other people would still be alive!

52, Mattias, you are part of the insane world. Go back and practice goosestepping.
Maybe your father can show you the improper way (Kicking your rear down the strasse) and then the proper way by leading you to the Wehrmacht recruiting center to sign up.
