Don’t Tell Anyone, But Rumor Has It That The LA Times Is Sitting On A Sex Scandal Involving A “Leading Candidate”

Who could it be? Is it true?

Now, as I say it’s a rumor; I haven’t seen the supporting evidence. But the person who told me said it offhandedly as if everyone in his world knew about it. And if you look close enough you can find hints of something impending, something potentially derailing to this candidate in the reporting of the campaign. Which could mean that something unspoken, unwritten about is influencing what is written, what we read.

I think this is a Democrat, or there wouldn’t be so much agonizing over its’ release. I’m am thinking Edwards or Clinton. Edwards because of the affair rumor, and Clinton, because of the gay rumor. I also don’t think that the MSM wants to hand an election to a Republican, do you?

HotAir:

If, as Rosenbaum asserts, everyone in the media already knows about it, why hasn’t it leaked? The one thing most people seem to agree on is that it’s probably a Democrat or else the Times wouldn’t be agonizing over publishing it. I think that’s far too cute and easy an assumption; even if they’re diabolically partisan, they have to consider the flak they’ll take from conservatives as being DNC tools and hatchet men if they publish. Not that they’re not used to that sort of thing, but it’ll be much heavier than usual.

  2. I think it is the Hildebeast. Otherwise the MSM would spill as Obama and DEadwards aren’t their Democrat candidate. A homosexual affair would sink the Hildebeast immediately.

I differ from the author of the quote on Hot Air. The LASlimes doesn’t want the flak from the far left.

  4. HitLiary has so many skeletons in her closet. Only Bill has more. I heard them talking the other day about how she got a $3000 donation then turned around two days later and awarded a $900,000 earmark contract to a company the donor is part of. So her damned $3k contribution cost taxpayers $900k! And they talked about the Republican Culture of Corruption?

  5. You know, other than his affairs, if you look back at all the Clinton scandals, who was the one that was at the center of them? Travelgate? Whitewater, The Rose Law Firm billing records, stocks etc., I mean she is the one that was front and center in all of it!

I cant wait to hear another Clinton say, “I did not have sex with that woman.”

  15. San Fran, I have to admit that of all of the Dem Candidates, Obama is the least objectionable. He is, however, like Jimmy Carter in 1976, a seemingly nice guy who would be hopelessly in over his head as President. He needs a good solid cabinet position or something to get experience in the executive end of government versus the legislative end that he has very little experience in as well. There is a HUGE difference between being one of the Indians and being the Big Chief. Legislators can run their mouths and say things they know are horrid ideas because they know that they won’t be enacted. Presidents don’t have that luxury. When they decide on a course of action, it happens.

  18. The US emphasis on convicting “sex scandals” in the political area reminds me of a quote from “Apocalypse Now”…

Col. Kurtz: “We train young men to drop fire on people. But their commanders won’t allow them to write “fuck” on their aeroplane because it’s obscene.” :-?

  19. I just don’t think it is Obama, and from the websites I’ve seen, he seems to be the least chosen as the “one”.

I just don’t see him as one that would be involved…I really don’t.
