If the progressive left actively opposes powerbrokers in politics then how can they support one of their own attempting to act as the ultimate powerbroker?

By: Pam On: Nov/1/07 -

Stuart O’Neill asked this very question within Markos as National Powerbroker? Can He Blackmail Change?

I think he can try to do this, but I think the days of Kos running the show are limited. His traffic will be there, but there are many other Democratic blogs that are not as extreme, that are actually starting to carry a message, rather than threats. His threats and bully tactics have cost this Congress. No doubt about it. The further a candidate is from the extreme left fringe, the better the candidate fares.

Hillary is not the darling of the far left…Allahpundit points out how she is doing.

They can easily do it: It’s called H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-S-Y.

The Democrites and other leftists live in a world of double-standards, situational ethics, relativistic morality. There are no absolutes to them other than they know best and must always win, regardless of the effect on anyone or anything else.

For example, they want to bring in the illegals to get more votes for themselves. Does it matter to them one bit that it will mean the end of America as we and tradiiton know it?

If they even acknowledge (off the record) that reality, they do not care whatsoever. Themselves, their power and privilege, is paramount even if they end up presiding over a decaying society and country.

And that is why I despise them so thoroughly, why they are evil degenerates, are part of what is wrong with America, and why they must be defeated.

If the liberal left are so anti power brokers, what do they call George Soros? The man is acting as a major WORLDWIDE power broker.

BTW has anyone noticed what has been going on with the US dollar on the international money market? That is almost as much of the reason that the price of oil has gone as high as it has. The worse the dollar does on the Forex, the more anything produced overseas is going to cost. Here’s a scenario that should frighten people. What if a wealthy enough currency speculator dumped tens of BILLIONS of US dollars on the market at a below market price. The availability of dollars at the lower rate causes the value to spiral downward past the original discounted offered price. The speculator then buys the dollars back at the even further below market rate. Speculator makes Billions and severely damages the US economy in the process. What currency speculator has the capacity to make such a move.

In response to your question FAO, let’s try George Soros, the man the liberals love so much.

Congratulations Bon Bon, you got it in one. =d>

That is the same George Soros who is funding a world wide movement to disarm the civilian population, including the citizens of the US. He’s the money behind IANSA, a small arms banning group out of Britain headed by Rebecca Peters. Peters has said the she doesn’t care what the US Constitution might say, there is no reason why US citizens should be exempt from a UN Gun Ban if they can get the UN to adopt one. Of course, how would the UN enforce such a ban in the US? >:/ We are the largest contingent of any UN peacekeeping force. Even if some nut job liberal wins the White House and agrees to such a treaty, it would not only be the end of their administration and the careers of ANY senator who would approve it, it could lead to a revolution that the Libs would not like the outcome of. The NRA outnumbers any military force the the UN could bring to bear against the citizenry of the US. James Monroe in his first inaugural address wrote: “Invasions may be made too formidable to be resisted by any land or naval force which would comport with the principles of our government or the circumstances of the United States to maintain. In such cases, recourse must be made to the great body of the people, and in a manner to produce the best effect. It is of the highest importance therefore, that they be so organized and trained as to be prepared for any emergency.” How sad it would be if his words were to come true through the actions of his very successors. Of course the lack of emergency preparedness has been abundantly clear of late. Just look at the impact of Katrina on Louisiana versus the impact of Katrina on Mississippi.
