kos Offers A diverse Opinion To Newsweek?
When one looks for diversity in media, don’t they usually look to an opinion other than their own? Newsweek hired kos as a contributor during the 2008 election cycle:

As for this accusation by kos:
Yeah, there’s a lot of heads exploding in wingnutlandia today over this bit of news. But Newsweek is “balancing” me out with someone that should make heads on our side explode. Announcement on that name is still a couple of days off.
Until I saw it linked at memeorandum, with no one discussing it, I hadn’t heard any reaction to the news. Could it be that he is hoping the right reacts? I think so. I can’t wait to see who they choose from the right…
Why would Newsweek share with kos their other choice?
I think it is great that they are hiring him though. Be it a left-wingerer or a right-winger..bloggers are becoming a functioning part of the MSM.

IMO, calling Kos input for Newsweek diverse is like calling piles of dogcrap left on your front lawn “landscaping diversity”.
