Shocker: Poll reveals deep public disgust with the performance of the Democratic majority in Congress.
Mark Tapscott discusses Gallup’s latest survey:
On six major issues, Gallup found solid majorities either disappointed or angry with the performance of the Democrats.
On Iraq, for example, 68 percent are either disappointed or angry, while on the economy, the figure is 53 percent. For healthcare and dealing with the federal budget deficit, the figure is 60 percent, it’s 65 percent on immigration and 55 percent on government reform.
Only on terrorism did Gallup find less than a clear majority of people saying they are disappointed or angry with the Democratic majority and even there the figure is 49 percent.
Those figures indicate a wholesale failure on the part of the Democratic majority in Congress to deliver on its two fundamental promises in the 2006 election campaign, to clean up Republican corruption in Washington and to change U.S. policy on Iraq.
The Democrats own their failure. They are part of the corruption, they fail to put forth bills that are intelligent, and they are just as bad as the Republicans when it comes to spending.
You know you are a failure when you can’t beat George W. Bush. If he is the definition of all evil, ignorance, and failure, what does that make the Democrats?

Looks like the dimocrats are suffering for what they have done i hope it reflects in ayear from now

You mention corruption as a reason for the Democrats low approval ratings in Congress, but I don’t see that subject in the poll results.
You have any polling data to back that up?
(!)

The Democrites promised they would do better. They have done worse, and the public knows it.

The democrats, as unpopular as they are in congress, are still trusted more on key issues that republicans.

Rasmussen reports Democrites are more trusted on National Security, and TAXES???

This is RICH, Rasmussen! This is a case whyere the polling questions would have to be analyzed, as would the respondents.
Trusted on Nat Security? Sure if you want to surrender.
Taxes? Sure, if you want them RAISED.
Or if you are a F’ing idiot, both, sure.
Toss Rasmussen into the toilet. Then flush it. This is bullshit push polling.

Follow the link though Robert..look how many more democrats vs reps were surveyed..hence you can get numbers like that…
November 17, 2007 - 12:10 PM on November 17th, 2007
Figures…that is the problem with this polling data. It gets reported in the news without any insight whatsoever into the methods used, the questions, who was polled.
If I designed a poll that reported a majority of respondents believe the world is flat would you conclude the world is flat, SFL?
November 17, 2007 - 12:20 PM on November 17th, 2007
Bwaaa ha ha ha ha! Took another look at the Rasmussen website and Scott Rasmussmen claims to be “independent”.
Then why is EVERY “Top Story” listed anti-Bush, anti-Republican? I did not see one headline, one story, one issue that is negative toward Democrites!
Not ONE thing about HilLiary fund raising scandal. Not ONE story or link about HilLiary’s flip-flopping on major issues. Not ONE link or poll result on Democrite corruption, earmarks. I guess according to Rasmussen the public has nothing but good perceptions for anything related to Democrats…
IMO, you can take Rasmussen and his “data” and flush both down the toilet.
SFL you are relying on unreliable information.

Robert, do you ever listen to Rush Limbaugh?
He cites Rasmussen.com nearly everyday.
Once again, you apparently don’t know what you’re talking about…
This from Rush.com:
“RUSH: An amazing, amazing story here. This from Scott Rasmussen and Rasmussen Reports: “‘Senate Heeded Public Opinion By Rejecting Dream Act’”

Wow, Robert. Do you ever get tired of San Francisco Liberal constantly correcting you when you’re wrong?
;o)

“SFL you are relying on unreliable information.”
———
Then you are saying that Rush Limbaugh – the most popular conservative talk personality – is using “unreliable” information on his show.
How do you say it? something like…Bwaaa ha ha ha ha!!!!
November 17, 2007 - 10:22 PM on November 17th, 2007
Maybe he is. What of it? I never brought up Limbaugh. You did.
I’m talking about what you posted.

“Wow, Robert. Do you ever get tired of San Francisco Liberal constantly correcting you when you’re wrong?”
I do recall about a year ago of getting tired of batting practice; that is, you’d throw out an opinion or an argument and myself (and others) would hit them out of the park. Over and over, like the Home Run derby. At first it was fun, but eventually it got tiring.
Is that what you are actually talking about?
So here we go again. I’m wrong? Go back to the link to the Rasmussen web page you provided. How many “Top Articles” are listed that are critical of the Democrites? That’s right, NONE. All are anti-Bush, anti-Republican. How about a little Leftist bias, scarecrow?
No what does Limbaugh have to do with what I posted? And so you are saying you listen to Limbaugh every day?
So, you went to the Limbaugh website, saw one article, and extrapolated from there that “Rush cites Rasmussen nearly every day”. No, he does not. And why do you think Rush said that story was amazing? Because maybe for Rasmussen to come up with that result is unusual, when Rasmussen is otherwise Left-biased?
Anyone else for batting practice?
