Murtha: ‘We can’t win militarily’ Reid & Pelosi Agree
That would be a quote from today. This man needs to be removed from the House!
“Look at all the people that have been displaced, all the [lost] oil production, unemployment, all those type of things,” said Rep. John P. Murtha, chairman of Appropriations defense subcommittee. “We can’t win militarily.”
The Pennsylvania Democrat conceded violence was down dramatically and some normalcy restored on Iraq’s streets, but he said U.S. victory remains unattainable as long as Baghdad fails to pass national reconciliation laws.
“To change the political law, it doesn’t seem to me you need the military stability,” Mr. Murtha told reporters on Capitol Hill.
The dim view of U.S. military progress in Iraq and a resolve to force a pullout have been echoed by the two top Democrats on Capitol Hill ” Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California.
All three of their futures depend on failure in Iraq. This is the Worst Congress Ever! Hell, they couldn’t even deliver the defeat they promised their liberal base!

When Murtha says “We can’t win militarily” he is right, in that the Democrites cannot win. With today’s Democrites in charge, we certainly cannot win anything militarily.
BTW when is this pos going to apologize to those Marines for his reckless, irresponsible, slanderous statements accusing them of murder?
Murtha is a corrupt, treasonous, hate-America pos. He should be in prison right now.

I almost forgot my solution: Sweep Democrites from power. Investigate them, put the criminals in jail. Trace down every last one of their illegal campaign contributions and remove the corresponding politician from power.

Robert, while investigating and trying to vote out the corrupt Dems sounds good, the fact is that Murtha is a corrupt Democrat in an area controlled by corrupt labor unions. About the only way for him to not be reelected would be for him to die before the election. That’s the bad news. The good news is that with his advanced age, it’s a distinct possibility in the near future. Of course there is good deer hunting in that part of PA and a stray round could “accidently” remove his name from the ballot. His replacement, even if a corrupt Dem, would lack Murtha’s seniority and therefore be relegated to the fish and game subcommittee or something versus being the chairman of the Appropriations Defense subcommittee.
