As Allahpundit points out, it is all in the pollster. Here is Gallup:

The poll of 897 registered voters nationwide was conducted Nov. 11-14, 2007.

And here is Zogby:

The online survey included 9,150 likely voters nationwide, and was conducted Nov. 21–26, 2007. It carries a margin of error of +/– 1.0 percentage points.
