UPDATE:SCANDALS SCANDALS EVERYWHERE……. Will Peter Paul Be Hillary’s Paula Jones?
It is not looking to be going Hillary’s way. I have posted about this in the past, so review it for reference. Death By 1000 Papercuts has a tremendous post on the subject, but I wanted to highlight this portion:
California’s Supreme Court has been asked to hear a claim Sen. Hillary Clinton wrongly invoked First Amendment protections to remove herself as a defendant from a multi-million-dollar lawsuit in which she and her husband are accused of defrauding the largest donor to her 2000 Senate campaign.
Business mogul Peter Franklin Paul – who claims former President Bill Clinton destroyed his entertainment company to get out of a $17 million agreement – is petitioning the state high court to rehear a recent appeals court ruling upholding a decision to remove the New York Democrat from the case.
I used Paula Jones as an example because Bill Clinton went to trial after being told that he could not get Jones’s suit dismissed on grounds of presidential immunity. That case dragged through the courts for four years, with Jones collecting $850,000.
As LBG points out, Hillary can’t blame The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy for this one. Peter Paul is a Democratic supporter with deep pockets. He was Hillary’s largest backer in her 2000 Senate race, although Hillary didn’t remember that.

Doug Ross has a lot of information looking at the rather suspicious relationship between the Clintons and a man named Vin Gupta who has donated millions to various Clinton outlets – his library, her 1999 Millennium party and her campaigns. He’s signed Bill on as a consultant and provided his jet for them to travel around in. Gupta’s company is InfoUSA that provides marketing lists, and the New York Times has investigated their use of the lists to target vulnerable elderly people and milk them over the phone of their savings. After promising to keep the list of donors to the Clinton library private, the library sold that list to InfoUSA. This is a list that the Clintons refuse to make public. But they’re willing to make money off of selling it to InfoUSA. The company is being sued by shareholders and investigated by the SEC for all the money Gupta has shoveled to the Clintons.

It looks as though Bill Clinton helped build his library, and Hillary 08 is counting on, a fellow you may have heard of, think Power Rangers and Univision, who also surfaced in a Congressional investigation into dubious offshore tax schemes.
If you Google “Titanium Acquisition Corporation TAC,” you find a few curious links. One is a four hundred page government pdf dealing with a Congressional investigation into dubious off shore financial schemes: TAX HAVEN ABUSES: THE ENABLERS, THE TOOLS AND SECRECY. In part, that deals with an almost 1 billion dollar deal in which TAC was key. Added bonus, read the pdf, Rupert Murdoch and Fox come into play, too. Start reading on page 97 of the pdf for the pertinent bits.
One of the key players was major Democrat donor and major-major Hillary supporter, Haim Saban. It’s thought that he may even be able to influence the election as a result of his role at Univision. See this by Ed Lasky.
I came across all this while looking into a $10 million dollar loan to the Clinton Foundation from TAC. According to page 36 of the Clinton Foundation’s 2005 IRS 990, the interest rate was below 2.5%. Saban is a good friend of the Clintons and wants Hillary in the White House
