Should the new name be (C)linton (C)rap (N)etworkUPDATE:
SCARBOROUGH: I’m not blaming Anderson Cooper. He can’t do everybody’s work for him. But it is total crap to suggest that nobody in CNN knew that this guy was from the Clinton steering committee, and that somehow Bill Bennett, a conservative that — let me tell you — does not check the Hillary Clinton gay and bisexual and transsexual Americans for Hillary Clinton steering committee list every morning. If he knows, don’t tell me that somebody at CNN doesn’t know, and don’t tell me that Hillary Clinton’s campaign didn’t know.
Michelle and her team at HotAir have even more news on the democratic plants:
Here is a video montage of CNN plants

NewsBusters has CNN’s reaction to the controversy: See here and here
Update, 11:40 pm Eastern: At the close of the 10 pm Eastern hour of post-debate coverage, host Anderson Cooper confirmed the tips Bennett received.
COOPER: “Bill Bennett earlier mentioned he was getting some reports from friends of his on the Internet that Brigadier General Keith Kerr, who asked a question about gays in the military during this debate, was on a steering committee for Senator Hillary Clinton. That was something certainly unknown to us, and had we known that, would have been disclosed by us. It turns out we have just looked at it. Apparently, there was a press release from some six months ago. Hillary Clinton’s office saying that he had been named to some steering committee. We don’t know if he’s still on it. We’re trying to find out that information. But certainly, had we had that information, we would have acknowledged that in using his question, if we had used it at all.]
Don Surber has this to say:
This helps Republicans ” and not just because it makes Democrats look bad.
The gotcha questions planted by Hillary ” as well, it turns out, as Obama and Edwards ” pushed Republicans to do better. The questions showed how well Republicans can act when they are caught off-guard.

I kid you not! It is no wonder that a Harvard Study Says More Than 60% Don’t Trust Campaign Coverage
General Keith Kerr who appeared as a “spontantous” questioner on CNN’s YouTube Republican Debates hosted by Anderson Cooper is a member of the Hillary Clinton campaign. But this was not mentioned upfront, Kerr treated as a regular, spontaneous questioner. Shouldn’t that have been made clear to the audience? Or does CNN think it’s OK to sandbag the GOP candidates with a Hillary operative without mentioning it?
In fact, he was so interesting to the CNN folks that they not only had his YouTube video question but he was there in person to ask follow up questions……
…..Just to be clear, this is the man who claimed to be a retired general who is gay and asked about gays in the military. Is he a Hillary shill? Here’s all the evidence one needs.

Debate Connections: Kerr, Clinton and CNN
Was this really about Anderson Cooper’s sexuality?
If Anderson does look forward to the day that gays can serve, why doesn’t he just come out of the closet himself?
Memeorandum has a ton of links
No dirty trick, no disgrace, no degeneracy is too low for the Klinton Political Machine.
And to think there are those who will vote for this?
And CNN wonders why they are derided by the Right.
The more the Clinton News Network protests their ignorance, the more they look like children lying to avoid a deserved punishment.
This should serve as a glaring example of the lying and manipulation perpetrated by the Klinton campaign and the Clinton News Network.
Wake up SHEEPLE!
