Don Surber has the facts and figures to support his statement that the War has a higher approval rating than this Congress…

war survey is here. Congressional job approval is here

Let’s hope these numbers translate to the 2008 presidential election and people won’t make the same mistake twice.

The voters of Nevada will NOT be making the same mistake with Harry “land Deal” Reid. It’s just too bad he was reelected recently and we have to wait so long to see him go.

    It’s kind of funny…

BOTH democrats and republicans, pointing fingers and accusing the other of being more of a loser.

Neither one of them have a majority support from Americans.

    Pretty sad, actually.

Who can American look to when it hates everyone in power, both left and right equally?

Besides, if the Democrats in Congress grew a pair and really made an honest effort to end the unnecessary and wasteful war in Iraq…

…their poll numbers would soar upwards.

Then maybe Liberals like me and my friends would give them a thumbs up insted of the current thumbs down.

Normally a lawyer would now argue that somebody’s judgement that failed a first time (=by doing the wrong election of the congress) cannot or should not be trusted in a second judgement (=by stating that the election was wrong)… :)

5, Mattias, if that is what you are arguing, get lost! You’ve been wrong and stupid on more occasions than I care to count.

3,4, What is going to happen is that the people will vote out all the Liberal weirdos and you will be sitting on Castro St. wondering what happened and why you have to accept personality once again instead of running from it and blaming Bush for all YOUR PERSONAL FAILURES.

6- Just because you are the expert on being wrong and stupid (and insulting), you don’t have to suspect everybody else to be like you…

I mean, it is typical again for you conservative folks to put the emphasis on the low priority information of that poll. When I look at (all) the pages of that gallup link, I can see that the people saw and see the US presence in Iraq as wrong, bad and unnecessary!!!
And if 69% of the people regard the current congress as a gathering of incompetent people, it just asserts (once again) my opinion as a foreigner, that the Bush government digged a deep trench amongst the political unity of the American people!

Sometimes its not what you say but what you DON’T say that is telling. SFL I have never, not once, seen a post where you condemn any misbehavior on democrats side. Our Republican representatives do not support bad behavior and when justified they do not support the person who engages in it. Witness Sen. Craig. That is not the case with democrats. Your liberalism is an anything goes, no values and no judgements attitude that is bringing this country down. What ever happened to civilized society. To the give and take, to the respect of others, to the protection of children and to the loyalty of our country.

As for your ignorant and naive statement about the war in Iraq you should know that the surge is working and when all is said and done it’s far better to fight terrorists there than it is to fight them here.

And here’s a little advice in case you haven’t noticed the cultural differences. A city like San Francisco will be one of the first targeted. Homosexuality is a major sin in the Islamic world and with all your pretty boys dressed in outrageous drag will be one of the first to go. Are you ready for that?

8, as usual, crap for brains, you don’t know what the H*ll you are talking about. Just stick to your own schnitzel and clean up your own country. God knows you have a lot of work to do starting with your demented self, Mattias.

9, BonBon, both Mattias and SFL are idiots. They are incapable of listening to what is right. They prove it daily here and elsewhere they post.

Too bad the two of them will only understand when an Islamofastist is in the act of killing them will they realize how wrong and stupid they have been.

I keep hearing the liberals saying “end the war” and I just have to ask: Who do you want to surrender to? Historically there are only two ways to end a war, win or lose. They declared the war years ago. We just didn’t do a damn thing to stop them until they hit us on 9/11.

As for calling a cease fire, the muslim extremists have NEVER abided by a single ceasefire that they’ve ever agreed to. BTW ceasefires do not END wars, they just prolong them and allow the enemy to regroup and rearm.
