I keep hearing the liberals saying “end the war” and I just have to ask: Who do you want to surrender to? Historically there are only two ways to end a war, win or lose. They declared the war years ago. We just didn’t do a damn thing to stop them until they hit us on 9/11.

As for calling a cease fire, the muslim extremists have NEVER abided by a single ceasefire that they’ve ever agreed to. BTW ceasefires do not END wars, they just prolong them and allow the enemy to regroup and rearm.

Sometimes its not what you say but what you DON’T say that is telling. SFL I have never, not once, seen a post where you condemn any misbehavior on democrats side. Our Republican representatives do not support bad behavior and when justified they do not support the person who engages in it. Witness Sen. Craig. That is not the case with democrats. Your liberalism is an anything goes, no values and no judgements attitude that is bringing this country down. What ever happened to civilized society. To the give and take, to the respect of others, to the protection of children and to the loyalty of our country.

As for your ignorant and naive statement about the war in Iraq you should know that the surge is working and when all is said and done it’s far better to fight terrorists there than it is to fight them here.

And here’s a little advice in case you haven’t noticed the cultural differences. A city like San Francisco will be one of the first targeted. Homosexuality is a major sin in the Islamic world and with all your pretty boys dressed in outrageous drag will be one of the first to go. Are you ready for that?

I mean, it is typical again for you conservative folks to put the emphasis on the low priority information of that poll. When I look at (all) the pages of that gallup link, I can see that the people saw and see the US presence in Iraq as wrong, bad and unnecessary!!!
And if 69% of the people regard the current congress as a gathering of incompetent people, it just asserts (once again) my opinion as a foreigner, that the Bush government digged a deep trench amongst the political unity of the American people!
