I coudnt agree with you more. We need to wake up and stop being PC just because the man is black and a good speaker does not merit him being elected. What has done, what kind of real track record does he have and I am not asking about his good intentions for this country because if I was I could be elected on my good intentions

Obama knows nothing about diplomacy just look at the way he spoke about former president Clinton. If he does this now what is to expected of him if he where to be elected.

why is everybody worried about the black vote when it us the latinos that clearly will not vote for a blackman but since we are one of tha largest minorities will determine the outcome of this and future elections

Obama is clearly a black man who stands on that pulpit and preaches about being black but as a latino I could care less. As we Latinos see it blacks stick together at work and at play. He would be no good to us. We latinos trust whites more than we would trust a black that has no related job expierance other than just being a good speaker or should i say a person that will tell you what you want to hear.

I never meant it as smear. The fact is that the man has no record except “present”. That may work in Illinois, but not on the national stage.

Hey I totally accept that smearing is part of politics.

Effectivness of said smear, however, is a whole other issue.

This one, and his kindergarten papers rank really low on that scale…

But, that’s just my opinion…

Voting “present” has been a legislative tactic since the very begining.

Everyone on BOTH SIDES does it.

This is pretty weak, as far as smear material goes.
