That Didn’t Take Long: Obama and the Race-Gap Polling

By: Pam On: Jan/8/08 - 10 Comments

Can You Trust What Polls Say about Obama’s Electoral Prospects? Two Important Trends Suggest Americans May Now Be Ready to Elect an African American President….That was last February..Just a bit over 2 hours ago, Obama lost New Hampshire, and rather than take the polls for what they are, junk, David Kuo took them seriously and now thinks that racism was the cause for Obama’s loss..No David, the problem was you followed the polls.

The Dem side is bringing out basic philosophical ideas of the liberals: Everyone is racist, everyone is sexists, etc. It highlights that they do not believe in accountability for one’s own actions. They believe that failure is not a self-inflicting phenomonem that builds one’s charatcer but is out of one’s control and can always be attributed to an outside source.

    Pitiful, really.

1, Ted, also, don’t forget the Dem Quota Politics. Steinem was basicly saying that its time to fill the Female Quota for President with Hillary.

Terms like sexist and racist are the tools the PC fascists use against anyone violating the rules of Political Correctness.

It is not permitted to even question anything that doe not fall wihin th guidelines of PC!!! No debate is allowed or tolerated! To even think such a thing, anything that would violate the tenets of PC, is itself an act of racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, etc.!

PCD prhaps then to fill the Female quota, and properly address the quotas for all of the disenfranchised minorities, we shoud insist that a future President (after Hitlary, of course) should be gay, female, handicapped, Spanish-speaking Vietnamese from Ethiopia.

    Does that cover it?

4, Nope, you’ve just excluded SFL, Tofu, and Eben from the Presidency.

No Ted, of course we Liberals believe that failure can be, and often is self-inflicted.

However, we are also very aware (more so than some conservatives, apparently) of outside interferences that can cause also cause one to fail.

What’s truly “pitiful” in my opinion, is how both Conservatives AND Liberals CONSTANTLY, baselessly and uselessly generalize the beliefs of others who may not agree with them.

I don’t race played much in Obamas very narrow loss in NH to Clinton.

There will always be a smallish number of die-hard racists who won’t ever vote for this race or that.

That said, from what I’ve seen and heard, and looking at his rise in popularity; once people who are hungry for a new/different kind of politician hear Sen. Obama speak or read one of his books, they look beyond the race thing and see something that they really want in a president.

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Apparently Iowa, 95% white, liked what they saw…

SFL, the rabid Democrats in Iowa are decidedly Socialist if not Fascist. Obama has a solid far left voting record in Illinois.
