There will always be a smallish number of die-hard racists who won't ever vote for this race or that. That said, from what I've seen and heard, and looking at his rise in popularity; once people who are hungry for a new/different kind of politician hear Sen. Obama speak or read one of his books, they look beyond the race thing and see something that they really want in a president. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Apparently Iowa, 95% white, liked what they saw... I don’t race played much in Obamas very narrow loss in NH to Clinton.
