Katrina Victims Hit Feds With 489,000 Claims Including 1 for $3 Quadrillion

“I understand the anger,” Scott said. “I also understand it’s a negotiating tactic: Aim high and negotiate down.”

I would have started at a gazillion!

  1. Sue the eco-freaks who have prevented those levee repairs and sue AL GORE over his global warming poppyocock=d>

  3. I have empathy for people who lost property, but if they want to sue anyone, why don they sue:

    1. The corrupt politicians who squandered the billion$ the fed Gov’t has poured into that area for Levee maintenance for 50+ years, instead of spending it on the Levees.
    2. As Snowy points out, the ecofrauds who oppose, stonewall, and drive up the cost of maintenance.

I wonder how many of these plaintiffs have already accepted cash and bennies form the U.S. taxpayers; now they want more?

  4. This moron who filed the suit for 3 Quadrillion should get 3 Quadrillion lashes. The first Judge that sees that suit should dismiss it summarily.

  5. 4- I think the lawyer thought people would cheer him/her..

  6. I know I commented on this. I had a chance to move to Nawlins before Katrina. I’ll have to ask my friend how much he’s demanding in compensation for his beloved Mercury Cougar. If he’s the dolt who filed the $3 Quadrillion claim. I’ll Kick his booty in.

  7. I think we need to have Dallas Corbin from the movie “The Fifth Element” negotiate the settlements. I’d recommend that he start with the moron and the attorney who filed the 3 Quadrillion claim. Hold the negotiations on a cruise ship in international waters. Then dump the bodies of any plaintiff who doesn’t agree to terms overboard and move on to the next plaintiff. The negotiations should go VERY smoothly after the first couple of plaintiffs and their attornies hit the drink. Why I bet a lot of them would settle for nothing more than the wonderful cruise vacation.

  8. 7, my buddy is hiding. I think HE DID file a big claim for his beloved, MAXX.
