“Liar! Liar!” O’Donnell Calls Edwards A Loser

By: Pam On: Jan/11/08 - 21 Comments

I would be remiss if I didn’t highlight the best of MSNBC Senior Political Analyst Lawrence O’Donnell. O’Donnell went completely nuts, screaming “Liar! Liar!” at O’Neill, who kept his temper despite O’Donnell’s raving. What’s wrong with what Michael Vick did? I have no inclination to do what he did with dogs, but I have no comprehension of what all the fuss is about. Larry O’Donnell’s Latest Rant: Mormonism ‘Demented, Ridiculous’ . Drumroll please……………..Here it comes..John Edwards Is A Loser:

If John Edwards stays in the race, he might, in the end, become nothing other than the Southern white man who stood in the way of the black man. And for that, he would deserve a lifetime of liberal condemnation.

Is he saying that Barak can not compete without a handicap? The only way for a black man to succeed is for a white man to stay out of the race? Is that what I am reading? There is a loser in the story, but it isn’t Edwards..this time!

Pam, have you noticed how your vistors and comments have dropped off significantly from what it was … even though we are in the heat of the political primary season?

It’s this trackback shit that pollutes your topic comments.

So often, I’ll come and see an interesting story and noticed “19 comments” (or whatever) and think “Oh, cool, we got a discussion going on!!!” only to find it’s most all unrelated off-site trackback link-horing.

This helps who, exactly? Certainly not your readers.

Why do you people watch this crap?

Who out there honestly gives a shit about the opinions of these countless and random political commentators and pundits?

There are SO MANY better topics that can be put in the RV forum.

    This shit is weak.

I hereby make a formal request to have more relevant material posted to be commented on.

SFL, I agree. RV used to actual have substantive debate on real issues. I don’t know if Pam is just tired, busy, or has bought completely into the Malkin/Coulter style of dialog (which is to simply amplify feigned outrage to shrill levels).

I can’t much blame her for being angry– all their potential Republican Presidential candidates fall way short of the bar. But, I really liked the old-style RV with actual discussion.

7- True, I can. If that is the only comment my constructive criticisms can garner, then maybe that makes sense. I’m not being a concern-troll here, as I’ve been here for a couple years. The fact that your guests who leave comments has dropped, replaced by spam from trackbacks, just leaves the site looking empty and bland.

8- Yes, race and gender is an issue. It was going to happen eventually, but certainly not from the Republicans side, whos race for the White House is filled with old white men, with histories of adultery, flip-flopping, cross-dressing, holy-rollers, and trophy wives. Yeah, Republicans are doing a great job holding up the stereotypes of your party! :)

TT- Actually, the comments/trackbacks and daily readers have increased, not decreased, which generates the ad revenue for the sight. The trackbacks are not spam and as I told you each of the prior times you brought it up, I am not getting rid of it.

8- You mean the same Republicans that have had 2 black Secretaries of State, 1 Black National Security Advisor, and the first Hispanic to serve as United States Attorney General?

Oh wait, the blacks don’t count because they aren’t black enough..they are traitors to their race and Unle Tom’s serving their Master…

So says the party that is imploding over the issue of race.

I also told the readers that I hate Huckabee and have no intention of posting anything more about the idiot…

The Democratic race will be down to Clinton/Obama..The Republican race will narrow down after Michigan…Have you noticed that I haven’t posted about polls? There is at least one an hour and they are all over the spectrum, so therefore, I am not linking them…

Right now, the left and media are the best entertainment around..the circus came to town early!

Congress comes back next week…News will pick up again…

“I also told the readers that I hate Huckabee and have no intention of posting anything more about the idiot:”.

Good. I watched Huckabee on the “debate” last night. He sounds real smooth, but when you look at his record, the BS detector sounds off loud and clear.

I’m for Thompson; the only TRUE Conservative in the race.

A little quick history about race and the two parties.

Democratic party was founded by slave holders
Republican party founded by an abolitionist.

Andrew Jackson (one founder of the Dem party) appointed Justice Tawny who presided over the Dred Scott case that declared Blacks as property.

Abraham Lincoln (the first Republican president) freed the slaves.

Senate Democrats filibustered the Civil Rights Act.
Senate Republicans banded together and with a few Democrats were able to override the filibuster.

It was a Democratic governor who stood on the front steps of the state university and declared that it would never be segregated. He was proven wrong.

#12…say all you want about distant history FAO, the fact remains that somewhere around NINETY PERCENT (90%!!!) of African-Americans vote for the Democratic Party.

Because of that one single fact, just about everything race related you throw the Lefts way is utterly irrelevant.

Pam, that’s a fair observation and certainly worth exploring but seriously, when you use these cable tv pundits, Right OR Left, it really lowers the quality of this site.

Who gives a shit what these people have to say?

Stick to campaign sources, or shit…anything better than cable tv pundits.

    lame.

SFL- If the Democrats are getting 90% of the black vote, isn’t it the left that has let them down and left them behind? It sure looks that way..

And as to sources..you can try and sidestep it all you want but I have posted the campaigns as the source..you just choose to ignore it:

BET FOUNDER UNLOADS ON OBAMA:DEFENDS THE CLINTONS HONOR

“If you have a social need, you’re with Hillary. If you want Obama to be your imaginary hip black friend and you’re young and you have no social needs, then he’s cool.”

    ————————————

How can they feel let down and left behind for the Democratic Party when 90% of them voted (D) in the last election?

There is no problem between the Left and African-Americans. The numbers are the proof of this.

If Hillary were to, god forbid, take the nomination over Obama, I’m quite certain that Blacks would still vote overwhelmingly for her as opposed to McCain or Romney.

18,19, SFL is the typical brain dead liberal. The kind you can tell thing, but you can’t tell them much because they know everything, but in actuality know nothing and demand that conservatives bail them out of every jam they get into with their PC insanity.

    January 19, 2008 - 09:23 PM on January 19th, 2008

It has been said that to keep doing the same thing while expecting different results is insanity. That is why the Blacks need to go back to voting Republican like they did BEFORE the Dems and the KKK suppressed the black vote. For them to expect to get ahead by voting for the same people who have continually fought against EVERY measure that would allow them to advance themselves and expect the Dems to help them out of poverty is insane. As to why the blacks keep voting overwhelmingly Dem, I have to think it goes back to the old adage of you can fool all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time. The dems are fooling 90 percent of the blacks all of the time. The other 10 percent have gotten an education, a good job, and have started to self actualize. Once they start being self sufficient, they see exactly how all of the welfare programs do nothing but keep the rest in poverty, and on the Dem plantation.
