   Just wait until the same happens to NYC, Ohio, and CA. Our liberal bloggers will regret all the manure they dished out here and will be begging for help.

   An absolutely great article Pam and thanks for finding it. As I was reading this article I couldn’t help thinking it was about the US rather than Europe. I think what the multicultural, pc crowd neglects to realize is that TRENDS are the true indicators of societal change and if it is going in the wrong direction policy change should be made.

   Of course they don’t get that and even resist change from more conservative groups but to people like SFL who post on here I would suggest you look at history. Check out what Hitler was doing long before WWII even started and what was going on in society that showed these trends were happening. The same thing is going on in Europe now, only it’s muslims, not nazis.

   That is a great analysis Bon Bon..the warning signs are all there, yet rather than face the problem head on, they chose to bury their heads!

   2,3, BonBon, Pam, actually people like SFL and Tofu are hastening the problem by hindering the war on terror. They can’t see that they are now their own worst enemy. They would rather silence a Conservative and take away their rights in retaliation for SFL’s and Tofu’s perceived slights.

   This is predictable and so easy to see, at least for those of us who have common sense and are suffering from the mental illness known as Liberalism.

   This is one of the fundamental problems with a free society: tolerance and diversity is good to a point, but past that point it destroiys the society. Europe is clearly past that point and we are in grave danger of going down that same path.

   We need:

   LESS tolerance.
   LESS diversity.
   LESS stupidity.
   LESS Liberalism.

   5. Robert, I think that’s where people start to divide. No one knows exactly where that point of tolerance and diversity should end. To resolve that would only take a bit of common sense though. Not exactly what the libs have in abundance.

   Yes, each situation is unique. But those of us who are grounded in common sense and traditional American culture and values have a reference point. We can tell when the limits of reasonableness have been exceeded, when it is time to draw the line.

   Unfortunately those who have no reference point are unable to do so. And that is the problem…

   BonBon you are right to compare Islamofascism to the Nazis. The only difference is the Islamofascists are arguably worse; they have absolutely no bounds.

   At least the nazis, evil as they were, didn’t want to die for their cause. They didn’t send out the suicide bombers.

   These Islamofascists are the most extreme manifestation of evil we have seen in history. They must be exterminated.

    It’s truly a disturbing trend. In our modern age of capitalism, equality and respect for freedom in a civilized world it begs the question why these people feel the need to rule and to kill in the name of allah in order to do just that. What is wrong with respecting others differences without resorting to murder?

    The point at which tolerance and diversity converge is a VERY simple point to locate. The instant that someone else’s culture begins to impinge on someone else’s freedom, it can no longer be tolerated. The Muslims may practice their religion as they see fit, until that first blow is thrown. Once that blow is thrown, tolerance of the offender is no longer acceptable. The proper response at that point in time is a swift, hard penalty. A penalty of such severity that it will absolutely deter anyone from repeating the initial attack. The Muslims need to be taught that while they may have their beliefs, they may NOT impose them on others. As long as they are tolerant of others, they will be tolerated. When they stop tolerating others, they forfeit their right to being tolerated.

    When the Islamists want to act like damn fools, they need to be brought to task for their crimes and slapped in a 6×8 cell 23 hours a day. Any mosque with an over abundance of attacks by members needs to be investigated and if necessary, the Imam arrested for inciting violence.

    Ahh, SFL, you have put your foot in your mouth up to the KNEE. I’ve never said I was against gay marriage. Quite the contrary. What I’ve said is that the gays are approaching the debate from the wrong direction and will only cause themselves substantial amounts of unnecessary grief because of it. If you read my posts, you’ll find that I’ve actually outlined a course for the gay community to follow to get the ability to wed. A course that will work substantially better than their current “we’re proud to be flaming” in your face approach. They need to stop trying to box a bigger opponent and use Judo instead. I’ve sold everything from insurance to sneakers to craft supplies and used cars, and the easiest way to close any sale is the soft approach. I’ve never closed a sale by putting a gun to someone’s head and demanding that they buy something. But I have taken customers who wanted to spend one amount and gotten them to spend 4 times that amount by soft selling/suggesting how they might benefit from the additional item. As long as the gay community doesn’t learn how to sell gay marriages to the straight community, they’ll NEVER get them.

    There is a book called “The Art of Closing Any Deal”. You would benefit immensely from reading it.
