57- It is a huge problem, I agree with you FAO. It is one of my top 2 priorities among many. My views on illegal immigration have not changed at all. I am in agreement with everything you stated. It doesn't change the fact that somehow, voting for Hillary Clinton will get some revolution started where the American people get fed up. We are fed up and we want the problem solved now. Our country can not afford four more years of the politicians, at the state and federal levels, pretending that this problem isn't there!

59... Me too Ted, Me too. Unfortunately we have a serious education problem in this country that is geared towards maintaining not only the status quo, but also the bread and circuses mentality.

"Well, there is always the Thomas Jefferson version of a Nuclear option. TJ said that a revolution wasn't necessarily a bad thing and most societies need one every couple of hundred years. Perhaps it's just about that time. Yeah, there is that option. I just ope Americans wake up before then, but I just don't see that happening. :(

"So putting an open borders Hillary is somehow less damaging than McCain? Of does repeating this over and over somehow make you think your argument makes even the slightest sense?"

Egads Pam, you haven't really been reading what I have been posting, have you? Or perhaps you missed he point.

No, Hillary will be far more damaging in the short term than Juan McCain...or Romney...or Obama. She will, beyond the border policy get America's attention on how bad thing really are by hurting Americans where they will pay attention most- the pocket book. Her over the top social-ist agenda will bring this about, instead of the "slow bleed" social-ist style of McCain and Romney.

THAT'S the point.

"We get it, you think the politicians are all corrupt and liars..We are sheeple..Your vote is a treasure but we waste ours.."

If that's what you think, then you don't get it at all.

My vote is indeed a treasure, but so is yours and every other American's who can legally vote. But the two party establishment, which frankly you are a member of Pam, maintains power and keep the citizenry in check with less than mediocre choices like McCain, Clinton Romney and Obama. So as an example, you and SFL who are two sides of the same coin cast your vote for your respective because it's "the lesser of two evils" or because "you want a change". You squander that power, because "liberalism is a mental illness" or conservative ideas are "outdated, archaic and stagnant".

You fail to see the parties just don't represent the ideas of liberalism or conservatism anymore. They represent power and doing whatever it takes to maintain that power. And with very few exceptions, anyone on the national political scene that is a member of these parties are part of said establishment otherwise they wouldn't hold the position to begin with.

You see, your vote, my vote and everyone else's vote is the only real power we have in this country and we squander it by keeping these parties in control.

And yeah- I am frustrated beyond believe. It is the act of "sheeple" (God, I hate using that term). I see the country diminish in stature compared to what our founding fathers or even just our grand fathers envisioned. Those people (the founding fathers) were both liberals and conservatives but were great men to a tee. So I am concerned with what my grandchildren will have to face...70% taxation, squander civil rights and inequities that you and I can not for see.

I really do pity my children because of the country they are going to have to suffer in Pam. As I type this I am dead serious about that. America will not be what it once was- a nation of free peoples who can pursue the "American Dream", and that is what we squander when we squander our votes.

Pam, illegal immigration is an absolutely HUGE problem in the border states and it is spreading. As long as the US attornies are not going to prosecute previously deported illegals until they're caught a 6th time, we're going to keep having problems. We can do a number of low cost options that will significantly reduce the problem. We can eliminate the anchor baby situation, go after employers, (we passed a wicked employer sanctions law in AZ, and of course the businesses are suing claiming it's illegal to revoke their business licenses just for knowingly hiring illegals. I don't think the argument that "just because we're knowingly violating federal law doesn't mean we should lose our license" will hold up to judicial scrutiny, but I could be wrong.) incarcerate them for at least six months for every time they're caught in this country illegally. Eliminate the other than Mexicans get a court date and released practice, and fingerprint every single one of them and run the prints through the FBI database BEFORE deportation. Find out what other crimes they've been committing since they've been here. Had they run a DNA test on the local child molesting rapist before deporting him after his last two prison sentences for drug dealing, they'd have known who to go looking for after the 2nd 14yr old victim was raped instead of having to wait until someone noticed an out of place vehicle at 5 am sometime after the 5th victim. There's a reason why he didn't go back to CA when he invaded the US this last time. If he had been caught committing a crime in CA, they'd have locked him up for life as a career criminal. That sounds like a viable plan to me. As it is, he has so many felony counts against him now, he'll never breathe air as a free man again.

Illegal aliens increase crime, education costs, depress wages and employment opportunities, and reek havoc on social services and hospitals. They are a causal factor in many of the economic problems afflicting this country.

FAO= Good point about the 2nd Amendment..that decision should be handed down by June. There is also the issue of education; school of choice/charter and private schools vs public schools. There is the issue of judicial nominees and economics.. All of these items are very important. Immigration is very important, but we aren't electing anybody based on one item.

Well, there is always the Thomas Jefferson version of a Nuclear option. TJ said that a revolution wasn't necessarily a bad thing and most societies need one every couple of hundred years. Perhaps it's just about that time. Keep in mind that the Revolutionary War was fought by British Army officers on both sides, and that the US Civil War was fought by US Army officers on both sides. Patriots, Traitors, or Rebels is all about who wins or loses and who writes the history books after the fact.

Thomas Jefferson also said that "The beauty of the second amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it." We'll have to see what happens in the SCOTUS in the case of DC v. Heller. Arguments will be in March. It could effectively destroy most local gun ownership restrictions in this country. Precedent says that DC loses, but who knows with the SCOTUS these days. I can't imagine what case they cited as precedence in the Kilo ruling. Another of the founding fathers said that a primary reason for the second amendment was to allow the people to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

52- Once again Ted plays the card that his issue is the only issue facing this nation. You are the one claiming that putting Hillary in "has a chance of waking Americans up when it hit home." and "I see one small sliver of hope for her in the guise of the anti-Christ named Hilary Clinton. Perhaps if we give them a claer and present danger, Americans will begin to fight for their country back. THAT is the fight we need. Otherwise, it is a slow smothering submission, and we are about to close our eyes permanently."

You go on to say "McCain and the polititcians you all blindly endorse becasue of the letter after their name is the subtle Soros style threat that is much more menancing and much more dangerous than terrorist. It is lack or foresight and forethought that does not recognize this." So putting an open borders Hillary is somehow less damaging than McCain? Of does repeating this over and over somehow make you think your arguement makes even the slightest sense?

We get it, you think the politicians are all corrupt and liars..We are sheeple..Your vote is a treasure but we waste ours..

Go ahead and vote for her and good luck with that revolution.

"You mean clear and present danger like 9/11?"

9/11 is a child's timkertoy compared to the danger that we are facing.

But if you want to play this card, like the race card and the vitim card and like any other card it can easily be dispatched. So here you go.

Juan McCain, who you folks are going to rally behind once he gathers the nomination from the Republicans and the sheeple will mindlessly follow, endorses an open border, pro-amnesty approach to our sothern border. this is in part to his globalist agenda. Part of his campaign team, his director of Hispanic Relations, was on Vicente Fox's cabinet. This man, who was dual citizenship, endorses a "Mexico First" LaRaza type of agenda. Logially, this is a pro-North American union stance, which will mean the end of America as a whole.

Remeber when you once told me that you finally saw the danger that George Soros poses America? You at least understood whyt I said that he is the single biggest threat to America. Besides the fact that in 2000 he endorsed McCain as the Republican nominee, McCain is EXACTLY the kind of threat that Soros is.

9/11 and the GWOT is something at face value that Americans acccept. It is ineed a clear and present danger. It will never materialize enough to subdue America though. It is too obvious.

McCain and the polititcians you all blindly endorse becasue of the letter after their name is the subtle Soros style threat that is much more menancing and much more dangerous than terrorist. It is lack or foresight and forethought that does not recognize this.

This is similar in style of Lucifer's plot in the movie the Devil's Advocate. He was using the law becasue it was subtle, and took advantage of the complaceny of man kind.

Folks, that what your politicians are doing to you. I just wish you can see it. The "9/11" arguement just is a hill of beans compared to this. I say this not tongue in cheek either, as I am a member of those families of the soldiers you always invoke. I say this do you ONLY to illustrate how serious I am about this- it is not something I am saying without a great deal of forethought or in a tongue-in-cheek manner.

Juan McCain, who you folks are going to rally behind once he gathers the nomination from the Republicans and the sheeple will mindlessly follow, endorses an open border, pro-amnesty approach to our sothern border. this is in part to his globalist agenda. Part of his campaign team, his director of Hispanic Relations, was on Vicente Fox’s cabinet. This man, who was dual citizenship, endorses a “Mexico First” LaRaza type of agenda.

This is similar in style of Lucifer’s plot in the movie the Devil’s Advocate. He was using the law becasue it was subtle, and took advantage of the complaceny of man kind.

Folks, that what your politicians are doing to you. I just wish you can see it. The “9/11″ arguement just is a hill of beans compared to this. I say this not tongue in cheek either, as I am a member of those families of the soldiers you always invoke. I say this do you ONLY to illustrate how serious I am about this- it is not something I am saying without a great deal of forethought or in a tongue-in-cheek manner.
