And No, School officials are not going to issue an apology for allowing a teenager to scream the C-word in public. Yes, this is the same High School that in 1999 became the only entity in history to ban a production of 'West Side Story'. Now you know why I call my Blog "Only in Amherst!" Most mornings I have the Today show playing on the kitchen TV while I'm tidying up, getting our homeschool lessons together, etc. My son's usually sitting right there eating breakfast. This morning, though, we were too busy making Valentine's Day cookies so I didn't even bother. You can't imagine how furious I'd be if my day started with my 7 year-old saying, "Mommy, what's a c***?" Oh my.
