"So to Mrs. Obama there are those that see with our eyes open and we understand."

"So,her comments are "ignorant”. Mrs. Obama is finally proud of America because seems to coming together to take back America for those of us who work so hard to keeps her FREE:."

What absolute unadulterated tripe. No one is taking "back" America. America is already lost, and the Obamas are part of the political system that we lost it to.

Donnie:

A. Blacks and Hispanics are still minorities in this country. By minority, we are referring to the quantity or number of them as opposed to whites. They are equal to whites with regards to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness

B. Has a person of color within the entertainment industry, and there are many, tried to make documentaries or movies to show the citizens what the non-whites did, while serving this country, throughout our history?

C. America and Mr. Bush didn't let the people of the south down during the aftermath of Katrina. A person of color, by the name of Ray Nagin, had a huge hand in that. When the white Democratic Governor was asked, prior to the storm, to turn control of the state over to the feds, she refused based upon the advice of the "first black president". Just because a person is on welfare, there is no excuse for living in a flood zone and not having an escape plan that doesn't entail the federal government. It doesn't excuse their behavior in the streets of NOLA. It doesn't excuse their behavior in the dome. California had some of their worst fires in 2007 and there was organization and preparedness. The facility used to house the people was not condemned within 24 hours. People faced loss but they showed kindness to their fellow man. We didn't see looting. We didn't need to send in the National Guard to patrol the streets to stop the crime. The number of homicides in Houston from September 2005 through February 22, 2006 went up by 23% relative to the same period a year before; 29 of the 170 murders involved displaced Louisianans as a victim or as a suspect. New Orleans was is the perfect example of why welfare must end. There were 3 states hit, yet it was one city, with a high population of dependent people that proved that lifelong handouts don't help.

C. The pace at which people gave to help the victims is unprecedented. By September 9, 2005, $670-million had been donated. Compare that to $239-million donated within ten days of 9/11/2001. People care and people gave. To some though, it's just never enough.

To all that would take offense to what Mrs. Obama said, I say it is apparent that you are not a black, hispanic, or minority person in America. White America will never understand how the once minorities in America feel. Look at the previous World Wars. So many minorities did so much in many of the wars America has been involved in. However, whenever, these conflicts are televised, printed, or are made into documentaries, it is the whites that are displayed. America and Mr. Bush showed their true colors when they left all those people down in the South stranded for days before sending in help. I looked at the faces of the elderly and children across the South during the period. And Yes, I understand what Mrs. Obama was speaking about. The movement in America by all types of people across the board is sometime to re assure Americans that no matter who you are you count. So to Mrs. Obama there are those that see with our eyes open and we understand. **==

"Don't give up hope yet, Ted."

I already have FAO. In a shourt eventuality, America will be dead

Hell, I see the continuity of both Republicans and Democrats more clearly then ever. As an example I have now been booted for giving my opinion on as many Republican websites than I have Democrat. Sister Toldjah and Democrat Underground seem to have the same operating policy.

So you see- both parties are trash. Both parties have lead to America's downfall and it is simply because Americans will not take their country back. Instead, they are lead by these evil people whose concerns are nothing more than power.

It is our fault, and until we can look into the mirror and can admit that then no talk of revolution or anyhting else will change that eventuality.

Don't give up hope yet, Ted. This country hasn't quite fallen yet. It might not be far from it, but with a little luck and a lot of perseverence, we might be able to save it yet. Otherwise, it may be headed the way of 1780s France and 1917 Russia. If the politicos don't wake up and wise up, their idiocy is going to push it just far enough over the edge to lead to another revolution. With the immigration and global warming policies of all of the top candidates for President, it won't be long until unemployment and inflation both top 20%. When that happens, expect there to be trouble. Any hunter will tell you that the most dangerous animal is the one that's cornered and every soldier will tell you that the most dangerous man is the one who feels he has nothing to lose. With that being said, exactly how much do you think a man unable to feed his family because of idiotic governmental policies thinks he has to lose. Remember the bank robbers of the Depression Era? Imagine Bonnie and Clyde and John Dillinger type robbery sprees across the country. And there is one HUGE difference now versus then. THE FDIC now insures all of that money against theft so the depositors won't lose a dime. Robbing banks will become a new means of striking back at a government that has gone rogue against its own people.

That's one to think on.

My intitial reaction is that when I was ignorant of the politicals (not the political process per se) I was. When I look into the past, I was. This country and it's former peoples have done great things. I don't see that anymore. I see America falling BECAUSE of her people, and that is why I am ashamed of them.

Not because of slavery.

Not because of the virtual genocide of the native American nation.

Because WE are allowing the destruction of this nation as it stands, and it is in all likelihood a for gone conclusion.

Ameica's greatness as a nation is all but a memory, and not worth much more than that.
