Ralph Nadar Joins The Circus Called Election 2008

He’s baaaack! Nadar announces presidential bid. According to the AP, “Ralph Nader said Sunday he will run for president as a third-party candidate, criticizing the top White House contenders as too close to big business and pledging to repeat a bid that will “shift the power from the few to the many.”

How many votes will he take from the Democrats?

  1. Bwa ha ha ha ha! :) ) Nader joins the race! Well good, because NO Republican or Conservative would ever vote for him, so he’ll only siphon off nutroot votes from the Democrites.

I am still hoping Messiah and Savior Al Gore rides in on his white horse and declares. That would be sooo rich! Loyal Democrites would be torn between the African-American man of hope, the smartest woman in America and heir to the throne, and the Messiah and Savior of the planet!

  2. Ugh.

  3. I honestly did not see this coming!

  4. I seriously doubt he will even come close to having the same impact he’s had in the past.

  5. SFL, there are alot of fools out there..I think the media is hoping he won’t have an affect, but I do think he will..it will be close enough without him in it..

  6. SFL is probibly a supporter of RALPH NERDIER since SFL is a nerd:-j

  7. I too doubt Nader will have much of an impact. This is way late in the game; he can’t seriously think he’s going to accomplish much beyond getting his name in the news. Maybe that’s the whole idea…after all, if you are under 50, you’ve probably scarcely heard of him. Today’s young people don’t even know what a Corvair was…If everybody forgets about Nader, they have no more use for him…

  • Nader’s another nutjob. He’s so clueless about how an economy works it’s pathetic.

Once again another person who has NEVER had to be responsible for a bottom line. It’s amazing how people who aren’t capable of managing a company successfully thinks they’re qualified to manage the nation’s economy successfully.

  • Yeah, he won’t even make a dent this year.

Look at the trend; 2000 was his high water mark, then 2004 he didn’t do nearly as well…thus will be said about 2008.

I have to agree with Robert. Me thinks this is about getting his name in the news.

Sad, for such a great man and consumer advocate to have fallen so far.
