Just when you thought that a study couldn’t get any more ridiculous, out pops one! Crime, Corrections, and
California What Does Immigration Have to Do with It? By Kristin F. Butcher and Anne Morrison Piehl, attempts to paint a picture that just isn’t so:
We find that the foreign-born, who make up about 35 percent of the adult population in California, constitute only about 17 percent of the adult prison population. Thus, immigrants are underrepresented in California prisons compared to their representation in the overall population.
Isn’t that 17% sitting in prison representative of 50% of the foreign population of California? Note how they don’t call them illegals.
Thought this was a hoot:
and my experience was that most immigrant crime was either petty (drunk in public, DUI, shoplifting) or was within the immigrant community (both victim and perpetrator were immigrants.)
DUI is petty? Tell that to the parents of these children!
These utter fools, complete morons, should only write about things they know something about. I can tell you, from 28 years in LE in Kalifornia, that “hispanics” in general are responsible for about 40% of the violent and other serious crime. I don’t mean spitting on sidewalks. I mean robbery, assault, rape, burglary, etc.
These two buffoons are neither intelligent nor knowledgeable enough to be commenting on, let alone writing about, something they obviously know nothing about.
Yet no doubt their “study” (really just used toilet paper) will no doubt be taken to heart and glibly cited by other cretins attempting to defend the indefensible.
And still these liberals want to openour borders and give amnesty to illegal aleins even while 80% of americans oppose it and wedont want any NORTH AMERICAN UNION:-l
There are real indications that the end result of this upcoming election could be extremely bad.
If these morons open the borders at the same time that they raise fuel taxes to ridiculous levels, it will crash the economy with runaway unemployment, skyrocketing inflation and rampant hunger and homelessness. When people become adequately desperate because of the actions of their government, they take desperate actions. I expect crime to reach new levels with open revolution being a real possibility.
