Congress: A Mental Health Bill Sponsored By 2 Drunks And A Murderer

By: Pam On: Mar/6/08 - 4 Comments

The “Paul Wellstone Mental Health and Addiction Equity Act of 2007″ was sponsored by Reps. Patrick Kennedy, D-R.I., who has battled depression, alcoholism and drug abuse, and Jim Ramstad, R-Minn., a recovering alcoholic who is Kennedy’s Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor. The Senate bill was sponsored by Kennedy’s father, Massachusetts Democrat Edward Kennedy, the biggest drunk in the Senate, and a known lady killer.

Mary Jo Kopechne was unavailable for comment.

It’s really a shame too that Mary Jo is unavailable for comment. I think in some smarmy way Ted thinks by sponsoring such legislation he is making restitution for his past deeds. Truth is manslaughter is murder and justice was never served. Hopefully he will pay the price for leaving that girl in a lake when he arrives in hell.

Well folks,if you thought your health insurance was expensive before, this will drive the cost even higher. This is especially bad for those of us who will never go to a psychiatrist. We’ll be paying for the psychiatric treatments of those who do.

Here’s a quick lesson on how insurance works. A group of people put an almost equal amount money into a pile. The money is then invested. As each person needs medical care, they take the amount to cover it out of the pile. While they all put nearly the same amount into the pile, only those who take money out get anything back. Those who file more claims, get back more than they put in. Those that don’t file any claims get nothing for their money at all. It’s really nothing more than a communistic micro economy. From each according to his means to each according to his needs. Under the Dems plan, they’re going to take 20 – 30% of your paycheck for medical insurance whether you want it or not. That’s in addition to what they’re already taking and the substantially increased cost of fuel, food and utilities resulting from the idiotic anti global warming tax bills. Expect to see unemployment, inflation, foreclosures, bankruptcies, and crime all skyrocket.

When Ted Kennedy does the world a favor and dies, they can have an eternal flame on his grave. All they have to do is have a pipe sticking out of the ground and down into his casket. Drop a match down the tube and all the alcohol will burn for ages to come.:):d<:-p
