I saw Spitzer on TV last night and he is an ugly SOB! :-j No wonder he had to pay $5k/pop for those hookers! They probably charge most clients $500. :))

I kind of doubt that someone runs a set up for over 6 years and charges the mark in excess of $80,000 for services rendered during that time.

What is the tie between the mysterious high priced call girl " Kristen" who serviced the Governor and Roger and Nydia Stone the acknowldeged " swingers" who were outed by the National Enquirer a few years ago?

The Stone's frequented a Swingers sex club called le Trapeze in NYC and were " regulars" in a 3-some with a beutiful girl named "Kristen" who worked as a prostitute.

I heard the Stones were trying to 'flip" the girl to the Feds because she had a hush-hush high profile client who I know believe is Eliot Spitzer.

Thais was a SET-UP !

Oh, yes! Circle the wagons, rationalize it all away! He's a Democrite, so it is just a personal matter.

Frankly, I wouldn't give a damn if Spitzer hadn't been such a zealous prosecutor/persecutor of others.

Spitzer a capitalist? What moron wrote that line? Spitzer has been pushing for one tax hike after another. That's absolutely antithetical to being a capitalist. Anyone with two functioning brain cells knows that tax rate increases do NOT promote capitalism, but rather stifle it. WHY? Because Taxes are an expense that does nothing to contribute to the bottom line. They don't buy inventory, they don't pay labor expenses, they don't produce sales. They simply take money out of the company coffers that would otherwise be used to grow the company. That's why tax rate reductions always lead to tax revenue increases. The ebst analogy I've been able to come up with is to look at money as seeds. The more seeds that the farmer has to plant in his fields, the more crop that he can grow. The higher the percentage of seed that the government takes, the lower the amount of remaining seed that the farmer has available to plant. If one planted seed produces 200 more seeds when the crop comes in, it makes much more sense to take a smaller percentage of seeds and get more seeds in the long run. A farmer who pays 20% of his 300 seeds in taxes only has 240 seeds to plant and only produces 48000 new seeds. After paying 20 % again, the farmer has paid 9660 seeds and only has 38400 seeds to plant.
However had the farmer paid 10% of his harvest in taxes the first year, he'd have had 270 seeds to plant with a yield of 54000 seeds. Paying 10% would've yielded 5300 seeds to the government and 49000 to plant. After 8 years, the amount of seed paid in tax at the lower rate is double that at the higher rate. Which is better, to raise rates, stifle growth and reduce revenues? Or to lower rates, increase growth and increase revenues?
