And yesterday, we see this:
As critical as she is about the Bush administration’s conduct of the Iraq war, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton gave a relatively rare shout-out to the military’s top man in Baghdad, General David Petraeus, calling him “an extraordinary leader and a wonderful advocate for our military.”
Here’s a real study in contradiction. Hillary Clinton, who just a matter of months ago attacked General David Petraeus testimony to Congress as requiring the “willing suspension of disbelief” now praises him. Why the turnaround? How could General Petraeus go from Liar to Leader in Hillary’s view in such a short time?
As everything Clintonian is calculated, the answer intuitively will be found in the political analysis. At the time she effectively called General Petraeus a liar, it was politically advantageous to align with extreme Leftist elements such as moveon.org and other Soros-funded moonbat organizations. Hillary was quite willing to suspend objectivity and evaluate what the General was reporting.
But why the sudden 180? I have my theory; let’s hear yours.

BonBon I think you are right on target. This is posturing to capture the middle, now that a wounded Obama means HilLiary doesn’t need to pander to the extremists at this time. Now she needs to sounds reasonable, Presidential…
