Last week, I let you know about Clinton’s financial backers letting Howard Dean know that the money will dry up and refunds will be asked for if there was no resolution on Florida. Yesterday, they sent a letter to Pelosi telling her to butt out of the superdelegates business. Keep in mind that Pelosi has been saying that the sd’s would vote the will of the people. If that were the case, there would be no need for superdelegates. That is neither the intention of an sd, nor is that what the rules state their function to be. That’s Nancy! Incompetent!
The 20 prominent Clinton supporters told Pelosi she should “clarify” recent statements to make it clear superdelegates — nearly 800 party insiders and elected officials who are free to back any candidate — could support the candidate they think would be the best nominee.
Pelosi has not publicly endorsed either Clinton or Barack Obama in their hotly contested White House battle, but she recently said superdelegates should support whoever emerges from the nomination contests with the most pledged delegates — which appears almost certain to be Obama.
“This is an untenable position that runs counter to the party’s intent in establishing superdelegates in 1984,” the letter from the wealthy Clinton backers said.
“Superdelegates, like all delegates, have an obligation to make an informed, individual decision about whom to support and who would be the party’s strongest nominee,” said the letter signed by some of Clinton’s biggest fund raisers.
Superdelegates have emerged as likely kingmakers in the fight between Clinton and Obama. The letter was another sign of growing Democratic tension over their nominating battle.
Pelosi has a big ugly mouth and butt. She just needs to hush, and keep her small mind opinions to herself. No one is interested in what Pelosi or Howard Dean have to say. They sound stupid and quite frankly whatever they say, I will do the opposite. That’s no threat, that is a promise! I would like to take that hammer of hers and knock some sense into her head, but that would be impossible. OK then, knock Pelosi, then Dean out until the year 2028. . . NEXT! :-w
Nancy Pelosi is a Liberal idiot who has abolutely no business being elevated to the position she is in. She shouldn’t be running anything more complicated than a flower shop, yet she is SOH. What a friggin’ joke!
