About 22 demonstrators gathered outside the ABC News building in Washington, D.C., on Thursday to deliver a petition reportedly bearing 200,000 signatures of people who agree that “FOX News is a Republican mouthpiece” and that networks, including ABC News, should stop “parroting” the Fox News Channel’s talking points.

MoveOn.org, a liberal political activism group, sponsored the demonstration and said in a press release that the petitions were delivered to major networks around the country, including CBS and CNN.

The demonstrators told Cybercast News Service that the Fox News Channel is “not a real news organization.” Nonetheless, they said, major news networks use Fox, a cable station, as a source for talking points.

“We are here to say, please, at the end of this election year, engage in responsible journalism and don’t parrot Fox News,” Adam Greene, director of strategic campaigns for MoveOn, told Cybercast News Service.

“We say Fox should not be setting the agenda for what is news in this country,” Deepa Domansky, a regional coordinator for MoveOn, told Cybercast News Service.

“Fox News is taking us away from issues that are really pressing and creating a sense that we shouldn’t be focusing on these issues but should be more focused on tabloid issues. We know that Fox News is not a legitimate news organization. It is a Republican mouthpiece. Yet the rest of the media is taking its talking points from Fox,” Domansky added.

A Republican mouthpiece? As opposed to:

Tucker Carlson who supplied the most colorful language, describing Hillary as a “kamikaze” who is “ready to wreck the party.”

Call it the Plan to Protect Obama (PPO).

The one thing the Left is consistent on is every time they see something that does not agree with them their knee-jerk reaction is to suppress it, to shut it down, to stop it using any means including violence or other criminal activity. From stealing the newspapers of the Republican Club at U.C. Berkeley, to vandalizing Bush yard signs, to the so-called “fairness” doctrine, they just can’t stand the exercise of free speech by anyone who does not agree with them.

This is one of the reasons why I hate the Left so much; why they are intrinsically anti-American and dangerous to the future of America.

I have to agree with you Robert. Immersed in a politically liberal climate I’ve come to realize just how bad the left is. What surprises me at times more than others is that their records speak of fascism. Why registered democrats continually vote for politicians whose sole purpose goes entirely against common sense and logic is beyond me.

    I sit here…stunned…absolutely stunned.

“Responsible journalism”…Moveon.org…Media Matters…Crooks and Liars. All tools of the left to “responsible journalism”.

    HA!

Moveon.org owns the Democratic party and thus does George SDoros by extension. I wonder how SFL feels about that?

    My guess is denial!

After all, it does equate as it is the only explanation as to why Obama is in the position he is in. Uncontested by the left media, as they seem to be throw Hillary under the bus.

I wonder what the Obama-Soros tie is? :-\

Denial is probably right on Ted. SFL often ignores or minimizes anything a dem does wrong.

The Obama-Soros tie. Now that’s one I hadn’t thought of. Pam, got any posts that would relate this? :)>-
