Kos Threatens The Democrats With Civil War If Obama Loses The Nomination

Hillary’s destructive coup attempt
No matter how you define victory, Barack Obama holds an insurmountable lead in the race to earn the Democratic nomination. He leads in the one metric that matters most: the pledged delegates chosen directly by Democratic voters. But he also leads in the popular vote, the number of states won and money raised. Still, Obama’s advantages aren’t large enough to allow him an outright victory. He needs the 20 percent of party delegates who aren’t bound to a candidate. It’s with these superdelegates that Clinton has staked her ephemeral chances.
A simple google search shows Obama courting these very same superdelegates, but back to kos:
Clinton’s near-lone chance of victory rests with a coup by superdelegate, persuading enough of them to overcome the primary voters’ preference. Yet a coup by elite Democrats would be ill-received, to put it mildly. Obama’s base spans the party’s most loyal and engaged constituencies: African-Americans, professionals who generate hundreds of millions in small-dollar donations and a conventional-wisdom-defying outpouring of youth support.
So you are loyal if you support Obama, but those that support Hillary aren’t? If Obama wins the nomination, will he depend on those Hillary supporters? You be your hat he will
If Obama lost at the polling booth, these supporters would accept the voters’ verdict and carry on. Many, including those who backed Howard Dean’s heartbreaking 2004 campaign, have been through such disappointment before. But if Beltway bigwigs steal a hard-won victory, it would amount to a declaration of civil war. Not only would the resolve of thousands of loyal foot soldiers and the party’s new fund-raising base be irrevocably shaken, but it would torpedo the opportunity to build and strengthen a new generation of Democrats.
Accept the voters verdict and carry on? Really?
2000, Democrats: “We wuz robbed!”
2002, Democrats: “We wuz robbed again!”
2004, Democrats: “We wuz robbed yet again!”
2006, Republicans: “Bummer. Oh, well, we’ll do better next time.”
Back to kos:
Clinton’s best-case scenario for victory requires sundering her own party. It is an inherently divisive strategy, but she doesn’t appear to care. For Clinton, all’s fair in pursuit of victory”even destroying her party from within. Her campaign has adopted a bizarre “insult-40-states strategy,” which has belittled states small, liberal and Red. Apparently, the only states that matter are the ones she coincidentally happens to win.
Unlike you kos, who just insulted half the Democratic base by stating that they aren’t as loyal or engaged as Obama supporters? They aren’t African-Americans, professionals who generate hundreds of millions in small-dollar donations and a conventional-wisdom-defying outpouring of youth support? Really? Hillary has none of those types of people supporting her? Of course she does, but they don’t count in your world because they support a candidate that you don’t.
To all of you that read this, bookmark the link to kos’ article. It is great ammunition to use against him this summer!
BTW, Hillary still leads in the superdelegate race and refresh yourself on who is winning the popular vote

She said she’d go all the way, and she will! Take a look at the facts..
April 7, 2008 - 06:08 PM on April 7th, 2008
facts are, she doesn’t come close to raising the kind of money Obama can get…
facts are, the longer this plays out, the worse she’ll look…
facts are, superdelegates are going to Obama faster than they are to her team…
facts are, she is behind in delegate math and has little hope of catching up.
SFL doesn’t like to make predictions, but you can put this one down in the books – she’ll drop out.

but, “there can be only one”

For as much money as the man has raised, he should have won the nomination outright~ FACT
Question: By going all the way to the convention, who will she look bad to? Her supporters want this! FACT
Hillary has had the sd lead since before the first primary. She has always been in control of them~ FACT
Neither candidate has the magic number nor will eaither candidate earn the magic number, therefore the sd’s will decide the nomination~ FACT
There can only be one, I agree
Both candidates have earned the right to take this to the convention.

SFL you are forgetting who we are talking about: The Klintons! The Klintons don’t give damn about ideology, the Democrap Party, fairness, or anything else except what they want.
Hitlary has been running for 7 1/2 years; this nomination and Presidency is hers as far as she is concerned. She would destroy the Democretin party, America, the Plant, and probably the galaxy if that is what it took to achieve her objective.
She ain’t dropping out. And Sen. Obama had better watch his back; he should stay out of public parks at night…the Klintons are capable of anything.
