We know that “Macaca” is out. That cost George Alen his shot at Pres. (of course Obama can hang with virulent racists and America haters but let a Republican utter one esoteric word considered a slur and he is bye bye baby).
Perhaps a more scientific term would be acceptable, for example the black Spider monkey is Ateles paniscus
.
“Look at the Ateles Panisci playing ion the tree!”
How does that sound?
