Asner is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and has raised money on that organization’s behalf. Says Asner: “Socialist means a thing that will curb the excesses of capitalism: the increasing wealth of the rich and decreasing wealth of the poor. : For me, solidarity, civil liberty, and social justice can all be summed up with three simple letters — DSA.”
Asner avidly supports Cuban dictator Fidel Castro and blames the U.S. for its strained relationship with the communist leader: “When Castro first took over, we all celebrated enormously. Cuba : had finally found its freedom. … The United States could not tolerate : a little Hispanic country 90 miles off the United States declaring its independence of the United States, so immediately embargoes, everything began to take place, forcing him into the sphere of Soviet influence.”
Ed Asinine is such a pos. I guess he feels America’s poor would be better off if there would be no opportunity for advancement, no chance to succeed, no social mobility. The party elitists/oligarchists on top, and the great teeming mass of groundlings trapped in the underclass with no chance to better their lot. yeah, that’s just great, Ed. Of course we can guess where he would want to position himself i that scenario. F’ing hypocrite, just like the rest of these Limousine Liberal socialist pos’s.
Sure we have our rulig oligrachy here too, but the difference, and it is a huge one, is that there is a chance to better yourself, there is always hope for improvement. The “Progressives” Socialists, Communists and other assorted vermin are trying hard to destroy it, but we still have it. It takes hard work, discipline, creativity, and all those real American qualities of indvidualism and capitalism the vermin hate so much.
