Now why, why in the world do they always resort to such tactics? If their argument so convincing, their facts so compelling, why the need to manipulate and distort? The answer is that the truth is anathema to them, poison, like a cross to Dracula. They can't stand the truth because it sheds the light of reality on them and their smoke-and-mirrors house of cards. It reveals their falsehoods. It shows them for the deceivers and liars they are. Speaking of deceivers, now who was that who is also known as "The Great Deceiver, the Prince of Lies"?
