If either campaign thinks that winning the nomination is worth tearing the party apart by igniting America’s sexist and racist strains to their own benefit, it’s stupid and shortsighted. Just because the Republicans will go there in the general is not a reason to start now.

Hamsher’s claim that she “answers to nobody,” he told her to pull the blackface Photoshop yesterday–and she dutifully complied.
Hamsher herself went ballistic last fall when first lady Laura Bush made a reference to comedian Eddie Cantor, who gained a following with his blackface routine.
“Does the first lady not know who Eddie Cantor was?” Hamsher wrote. “Or does she actually think it’s appropriate to invoke a comedian famous for appearing in blackface when talking about minority students, and then crack wise about their erstwhile future as criminals?”
Racist FDL Demands Apology For “sexist undertones”?
Ask Jane Why Kate O’Beirne is a Dangerous Bitch, and then tell me why she is due an apology.
Hamsher has a history of unhinged lunacy. She is credited with popularizing the label “Rape Gurney Joe” to attack Joe Lieberman. Prof. Ann Althouse rightly criticized the comment saying, “The label “Rape Gurney Joe” is so ugly that ordinary citizens will feel quite put off”. Hamsher responded by calling Althouse an “idiot” and depicted her as a baboon. Hamsher has also called NRO’s Kate O’Bierne, “Sandpaper Snatch” and said, “The bitch is dead meat.”, and this was right before her participation on a Washington Post panel discussion about online civility.

I like her little shot:

This is the kind of idiocy that just gets repeated over and over because it is part of the Big Lie that Republicans are racist and mean, but the Democrites are pure and wonderful.
So she’s setting up the argument already so if Obama survives and gets the nimination, Republican campaigning against him will be predefined as racism.
No Jane, you and those who think like you are the racists. I’ll bet you are a great proponent of the Democrite Virtual Plantation, aren’t you? Al the while pointing a finger at the Republicans.

Liberals calling Republicans racist, is another prime example of the pot talking about the kettle.
Libbies need to pull the big redwood tree outa their eye, before remarking about the speck they think they see in the Republicans eye.
