His Achilles heel is being nipped at and he just won’t stand for that!
In a preview of what the couple may face in the fall, the Tennessee Republican Party unveiled a four-minute online video Thursday, coinciding with Michelle Obama’s visit to the state for a Democratic Party event. The ad mocked her “proud” remarks from earlier in the year.
The video featured Tennesseans saying why they were proud of America, while repeatedly cutting to Michelle Obama’s comments that she was proud of America “for the first time in my adult life.”
For Barack Obama, the advertisements went too far.
“If they think that they’re going to try to make Michelle an issue in this campaign, they should be careful, because that I find unacceptable — the notion that you start attacking my wife or my family,” he said.
“For them to try to distort or to play snippets of her remarks in ways that are unflattering to her I think is just low class and I think they — most of the American people would think that as well,” he said. “I would never think of going after somebody’s spouse in a campaign.”
Got that? Michelle was campaigning for her husband and made statements that left the campaign open for attack, yet for whatever reason, Barack doesn’t feel that we should be able to question the statements

The more I see and hear Barack Obama, the less I think of him as a man and as a candidate. He hides behind his race as if it was his momma’s skirts. Nothing is ever his fault or the fault of the positions he has taken on issues vital to the safety and security of the United States. It’s either people who don’t vote for him are racists or war mongering fascist neocons who refuse to get with his new program of not being so beastly to our enemies. He is thin skinned, quick to anger, overly sensitive, and a whining, sniveling child who can’t take criticism like a man and respond as an adult.
The more he whines the more the press bends over backwards to cover for him. He makes a statement about there being 57 states and gets a pass. McCain confuses Shias and Sunnis and he’s a senile old man. He calls a reporter “sweetie” and his apology is accepted – end of story. McCain apologizes for anything and it’s never enough.
I hate the idea of having to defend McCain but the fact is, the press coverage of the 2008 campaign is even more lopsided than it was in 2004 – something I thought could never be topped. And as long as Obama cries crocodile tears whining Foul! every time he is criticized, the press will continue to back his outrageous claims of “unfairness” and dirty politics.

Obama, like his wife, is a whiney minority that wants special treatment.
So true and she a Harvard grad. I hope more people begin to understand that being a whiner and complainer, race baiter and finger pointer is NOT the American way.

That slut should be gratful that some bleeding hearts paid her Harvard education bills, if she did’nt have that she would be working a corner on the 6300 south block of Chicago and earning her two-bits.

If Michelle were sitting silent as Laura Bush did or Jackie Kennedy or Lady Bird Johnson, then Obama would have a case. Michelle Obama is out there talking policy and campaigning by herself on a regular basis, therefore, she doesn’t get a pass.
I agree Pam. Underage children are the only unacceptable targets in a campaign. Spouses who insert themselves into the campaign are just as much at scrutiny as the candidate.
Besides, she’s applying for the job of First Lady. That, by definition, makes her accountable for her words.

Oh yeah Pam, you are correct. In my part of the world we use the term ‘pussy whipped.’ One of those country bumpkin expressions.
A fiction story that would be so nice if it came true.
While on the campaign trail, Osama Ben Obama
and Hillary
happen on the same location at the same time. They were at a spot famous for dangerous whitewater rafting streams.
Both wanted to outdo the other at showing whose the most macho. They end up sharing a raft. Hillary wants to show she is most macho, so she refuses to let and Secret Service agents on board. Obama not to be outdone does like wise. Obama then tries to outdo Hillary by not wearing a helmet nor a life jacket, so Hillary follows suit. The white water rapids are especially bad due to heavy rains and the water is rushing at an incredible speed.
Soon after starting, they hit a submerged rock and the raft flips over trapping them both beneath the raft, the rapids are full of large rocks and the raft dashes through with both of them under water.
Now the question: who is saved?

The ad was just plain stupid and a cheap shot. that said, if she’s going to go out on the campaign trail, she should expect to get dirty.

Actually I received that remark as a bumper sticker a friend saw. Maybe a better one to pass would be
“I sleep like a Democrat, first I lie on one side, then the other”
While all Liberal certianly are not Commies, ask any Communist which party he or she wants in the Whitehouse and I bet you’ll find almost 100% wanting the Democrats.
Way back in the Old Commie regime in Russia, a defector said that the Russian and Red China leaders all wanted Democrats in control in the USA because its easier to manipulate them then the Republicans are.
I had the displeasure of working not too many years ago with some crackpots that were avowed Communist, and each and every one voted Democrats because while they knew the American Communist party candidate could never win the Democrats were the closest thing they hoped for, to weaken the US for their Socialistic dreams.

No all Liberals are not Communist, but go ask and American Communist which party they want to win in November and probably clost to 100% will say Democrats.
Some years ago before Russia Communism collapsed as a failed system, a defector to the USA said that all the leaders on Russia and Red China prefered the Democats, because they were so much easier to manipulate then the Republicans would be.
A few years ago I had the displeasure of working in an office that employed some crackpots who were avowed Communist, each and every one of them voted Democrat because while knowing that their American Socialistic party could never win the Whitehouse they knew the Democrats were closer to their all encompassing government that they dreamed of having in America.
