(David, teddies (hic) bad behavior for thirty years and pathetic insults towards the men and women serving this country can not be excused or condoned by public service. To the contrary, the man has set this country and the good work his family of brothers accomplished back generations.
His utter disgrace by vocalizing drunken tirades in front of the world has only emboldened our enemies and weakened our standing to a degree even his own brothers would have strung him up for. How many service personnel have perished due to his callus words? So, no tears here, just god speed…

While I find Ted Kennedy repulsive for his actions and attitudes, I will wish him and his family well.

I feel that Ted needs to resign, undergo treatment and spend whatever time God deems him to have left with his family. There is one bright point to all of this. Should he survive the cancer, the 6 months of Chemo and radiation therapy will almost certain result in his losing a substantial amount of weight. A fact that, if he does survive the cancer, will insure his life following it will be greatly enhanced. If caught early enough, the cancer in his brain might actually help to prevent a heart attack or stroke later on.
