Attention Kennedy Family Members: Senate Seats Are Not Legacy Gifts

Ted Kennedy: Hey, how about giving my senate seat to my wife?

Why not? Why not just go the whole nine yards and convert it into a peerage? They’ve held the seat for 55 years, except for a brief period in the early 60s when JFK’s college roommate held it. Give it to Ted’s wife, then Caroline can have it after she establishes Massachusetts residency, and then Patches will get it provided he doesn’t crash any more cars in the meantime. Although, of course, that never hurt Teddy, did it?

One nice thing about this idea: It adds a rich, glossy nuance to Obama’s arguments against the Clintons’ dynastic politics.

If Hillary ends her presidential run, she just may take Teddy’s spot

  1. I would say unbelievable, but nothing this traitor comes up with surprises me anymore.

    I guess he feels, as part of America’s elite, that there is some sort of peerage system like titles in Great Britain.

    Is there any way, and possible argument anyone can come up with to defend this ahole?

  2. So…where are the defenders of the Ted Kennedy? Nowhere to be found?

  3. Why would Hillary go from being a Senator from NY to being a Senator in Taxachusetts?

    Unless maybe she’s really, actually, always been a Red Sox Fan?

  4. No, she could take his position as most powerful Senator..

  5. It’s either the brain tumor or the alcohol. Either way his brain is toast.

  6. How about NO MORE KENNEDYS IN PUBLIC OFFICE AT ALL8-}
