Al Qaeda web sites are making a lot of noise about “why we lost in Iraq.”
Keep this to yourself, we don’t want to upset Obama!
Al Qaeda web sites are making a lot of noise about “why we lost in Iraq.” Western intelligence agencies are fascinated by the statistics being posted in several of these Arab language sites. Not the kind of stuff you read about in the Western media. According to al Qaeda, their collapse in Iraq was steep and catastrophic. According to their stats, in late 2006, al Qaeda was responsible for 60 percent of the terrorist attacks, and nearly all the ones that involved killing a lot of civilians. The rest of the violence was carried out by Iraqi Sunni Arab groups, who were trying in vain to scare the Americans out of the country.
Today, al Qaeda has been shattered, with most of its leadership and foot soldiers dead, captured or moved from Iraq. As a result, al Qaeda attacks have declined more than 90 percent. Worse, most of their Iraqi Sunni Arab allies have turned on them, or simply quit. This “betrayal” is handled carefully on the terrorist web sites, for it is seen as both shameful, and perhaps recoverable.
Ed offers:
Now AQ has a major public-relations and recruiting problem on its hands. As long as the network scored victories against the West, more radical Muslims could entertain the fantasy that Osama had that mandate from Allah to establish the supremacy of Islam. Now that Osama has lost Iraq, that fantasy has been dashed ” and Osama exposed as just another pretender, with AQ as his butcher squad, one that kills many more Muslims than infidels. Their defeat shows that the violent jihad strategy fails when superior force gets brought to bear against it, which hardly points to a mandate from heaven.
That defeat will resonate throughout the Islamic world. The victory of rationality and democracy in Iraq cannot be denied, even by AQ itself.
Remember this: Obama: Let’s Pull Out Of Iraq And Invade Pakistan
In a strikingly bold speech about terrorism scheduled for this morning, Democratic presidential candidate Illinois Sen. Barack Obama will call not only for a withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq, but a redeployment of troops into Afghanistan and even Pakistan — with or without the permission of Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf.
“I understand that President Musharraf has his own challenges,” Obama will say, according to speech excerpts provided to ABC News by his campaign, “but let me make this clear. There are terrorists holed up in those mountains who murdered 3,000 Americans. They are plotting to strike again. It was a terrible mistake to fail to act when we had a chance to take out an al Qaeda leadership meeting in 2005. If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf won’t act, we will.” …
In many ways, the speech is counterintuitive; Obama, one of the more liberal candidates in the race, is proposing a geopolitical posture that is more aggressive than that of President Bush. It comes at a time in Obama’s campaign when the freshman senator is drawing more financial support from more voters than any other candidate, though he has yet to vault from his second-place position in the polls. One of the reasons for that is that the Democratic front-runner, New York Sen. Hillary Clinton, is seen as more experienced and in some ways stronger, a perspective Obama wishes to change.
“Let me quote directly from the news report that the Obama campaign chose to highlight on its website”:
The Illinois senator warned Pakistani President Gen. Pervez Musharraf that he must do more to shut down terrorist operations in his country and evict foreign fighters under an Obama presidency, or Pakistan will risk a U.S. troop invasion and losing hundreds of millions of dollars in U.S. military aid.
Obama won’t go to Iraq, even after McCain offered to hold his hand …
Curt has the story from start to finish, McCain offered to take Obama, and Obama refused to go!

Yes! DO NOT let the Democrap leadership know about this! They’ve already decided we have lost in Iraq, so the truth might upset them! And I’m sure the MSM will not disturb Obama’s consciousness with this information. He was against the war from the beginning he keeps saying, so to discover that Al Qaeda has admitted defeat would not be good for his campaign.
BTW I LMAO when I heard the sound clip where Obama apparently saw dead people attend his speech. That’s where he noted the fallen heroes in the audience. Since he’s from Chicago, it could actually be true. Dead people there are known to routinely rise up and vote for Democrites.

ROBERT: NOW THAT WAS A GOOD ONE. If only Right Voices could be on ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, C.Mathews, Oprah etc. THINGS COULD BE SEEN A LOT CLEARER AS TO WHAT THE REAL PROBLEM IS. . . STUPIDITY for one and the other main problem called – NO BRAINERS, at least THE STUPIDS HAVE BRAINS, they just don’t use them, but the NO BRAINERS – are puppet zombies and get interviews on the above mentioned media programs.

Carolyne…you are mistaken.
Stupidity is defined here as those who voted for George W. Bush…and No Brainers are those who voted for him AGAIN in 2004.
