Susan Sarandon On An Obama Loss: “It’s a critical time, but I have faith in the American people. If they prove me wrong, I’ll be checking out a move to Italy. Maybe Canada, I don’t know. We’re at an abyss.”

One more reason McCain must win!

    “We’re at an abyss.”

I disagree, but she does have a good idea of what an abyss is. Just look at her career. :d Go Speed Racer! Go!

Pam – This should show you that not all Liberals think that Hollywood is their guiding voice…except for maybe Gary Senise.

“There are alot of Republicans in Hollywood”

    ——————

My brother is one of them. He’s a screen writer, director and professor of film at a college in LA. He’s a member of the Writers Guild and was on strike last year.

And he’s a born again Christian conservative republican.

    (SFL shudders)

As for Susan…I thought she was great in the “Rocky Horror Picture Show”.

    Susan’s right.

This country and its global reputation cannot abide another four years of dictatorship.

Miss Sarandon is woman of singular courage. She has the conviction to speak her mind and in doing so voices the lack of hope many fine patriotic Americans now feel in the wake of eight years of Georgie Porgie.

It would have been better I feel in the long run if the Southern States had been allowed to secede from the Union in the 1860s. Texas should be its own country certainly.

Consider it an unintended compliment BonBon. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is arguably the worst movie ever made. It was so bad imo I even posted about it, telling the story of the night I (unsuspectingly) went to see it:

You haven’t missed anything worthwhile if you haven’t seen it.

If she promises to take her hubby Tim Robbins with her and not come back, I’ll put myself on a financial tightrope and pick up the tab for her one way ticket.

No great loss to cinema or the country if that idiot and all those like her move to another country. Of course other countries will take over 60% of her income.

I actually respect Ms. Sarendon for sticking with her beliefs, regardless of how I agree. Just when you claim you are ready to leave the country as a result is when I feel the line is crossed.

I have long thought Susan Sarandon suffered from anoxia at birth, but her comments equating Obama to Jesus as a community activist were so offensive that I could not ignore them. Obama is a politician like the rest, with scandals and shady dealings to get where he is today. Anyone who is misled into thinking he is any kind of messiah deserves the world as it is. Can I give her directions out of the country, perhaps to Iraq?

The absurd characterization by reference of Obama as Jesus is revealing about the psyche of those it appeals to. In a way, Obama is their version of Jesus. These Leftists are typically atheist; they deny Christian religion. They have de facto replaced it with their own religion, Liberalism, and its many factions. Liberalism is the new version of the biblical Golden Calf. So it is not surprising they needed to find their own deity, their own incarnation of their religion, and they have anointed Barack Saddam Hussein Osama Obama as their Messiah and Savior.

It demonstrates tangibly the severity of their mental illness…
