Instead of a rich legacy bequeathed upon the United States by forever U.S. Senator Teddy Kennedy, the oft-intoxicated, blubbery fourth brother of the Kennedy clan-four decades ago–drunkenly drove over a bridge that caused the death of Mary Jo Kopechne and lied about what happened.
But his worst and most destructive legacy for the United States stems from his authorship of the 1965 “Immigration Reform Act” that added the bulk of our additional 100 million people into America within 40 years. It jumped legal immigration from 170,000 annually to 1.1 million annually. Added to that disastrous environmental legacy, his actions provoked a complete ethnic change of our stable society into a fractured civilization. How? He provided for entrance of immigrants from cultures totally incompatible with U.S. culture. He downgraded citizenship by not enforcing our laws or maintaining educational standards.
“We are the only country in history that deliberately changed its ethnic makeup, and history has few examples of ‘diversity’ creating a stable society.” Governor Richard D. Lamm
As those immigrants poured into this country, he facilitated and languished as millions of illegal aliens marched across our borders to wreak havoc on our schools, communities, jobs, hospitals, language and prisons. Over 20,000 members of MS-13 gangs distribute $130 billion in drugs yearly. We pay for 400,000 babies born to illegal alien mothers annually. We suffer 28 million Americans on food stamps because illegals downgrade wages and take jobs from our working poor.
Kennedy single handedly planted the seeds for the destruction of our country per the words of President Teddy Roosevelt, “The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, or preventing all possibility of its continuing as a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities.”
How did Kennedy answer that crisis of unrelenting illegal border crossing? He proposed, wrote and encouraged Ronald Reagan to sign the 1986 Immigration Amnesty that allowed what he said were only 1.3 million illegals. The true number of illegal aliens that gained instant citizenship became 4.3 million.
Later, Reagan said signing that amnesty was the worse mistake of his presidency.
Last June, 2007, as another 20 million illegal aliens broke over U.S. borders since 1986, Kennedy tried to give another amnesty by forcing S.B. 1639 into law with his bluster and pompous bellowing. He voted to double legal immigration to 2.2 million annually! Kennedy remains responsible for our $346 billion annual costs paying for illegal aliens!
In Dr. Otis Graham’s “Unguarded Gates: A History of America’s Immigration Crisis”, he writes, “Most Western elites continue urging the wealthy West not to stem the migrant tide, but to absorb our global brothers and sisters until their horrid ordeal has been endured and shared by all–ten billion humans packed onto an ecologically devastated planet.”
Kennedy voted for the fraudulent Iraq War that killed 4,000 American soldiers and wounded 31,000 to date. He’s voted against making English our national language which ensures further Balkanization of our nation via linguistic chaos. When a nation cannot speak to itself, it becomes fractured and separated.
While he battles with brain cancer, we battle for our nation’s life. While he sails his boat around Martha’s Vineyard , we pick up millions of pieces of trash on our borders from invading illegal alien hordes that he encourages. While he tips yet another glass of wine, we struggle to maintain our schools, communities, hospitals and prisons from this illegal invasion. While he sat on his barnyard wide rear-end for 40 years in the Senate creating the problems that now destroy our nation, we watched the American Dream turn into a nightmare.
Contrary to the editors of the Denver Post, Ted Kennedy may be likened to Nero of Rome who fiddled while it burned. Kennedy drank while we fought for our nation’s survival. Kennedy ate at the finest tables while we struggled with his voting for H-1B and H-2B visas that displaced millions of American workers. Kennedy sailed his boat while our nation sank into consequences of a dysfunctional and unsustainable nation.
Because of Kennedy, our successful culture finds itself turning into a foreign culture that failed, i.e., Mexico . The March PEW report shows Mexicans in America becoming the new dominate majority by 2050 at 53 percent.
In other words, rather than serving America and our future, Senator Ted Kennedy destroyed our America just as quickly as he took Mary Jo Kopechne’s life on a drunken night somewhere back in the 60s. As she fought for her life in that car as the waters rose above her, he escaped.

I am going to suggest to Pam that RV have an FAQ page, or an “Established Facts” page so we don’t have to waste time on the same material. Your pro-illegal immigration arguments have been countered in every way so many times I don’t even have the interest in going there again.
That way when you come up with a point like you just did, anyone can post something like “FAQ #21″, or Established Facts #17, and so on and be done with it.

All this does take work and diligence. Missing it from time to time is not a crime if we are humble and can admit when we do miss it. Pride goes before a fall, and information helps us not fall. Being ignorant and a lazy butt will get you no where fast, and you are a glass house.
I do enjoy the accurate info on Right Voices and when I read Robert, Pam, etc. I know they have done their home work. The political landscape is hard to grasp, and that is why I enjoy landscaping with plants, gardens, etc. that is much easier. However it is important to know what you are up against, and be wise.
I see Obama as a man that is following after a fantasy, and is trying to fit in without the work, knowledge or experience and he is a first class Con, or he would not have the associates he has. Takes one to know one. That is his evil carnal nature, Obama is all about Obama, has a proud look, walk, and talk. He thinks he’s arrived without any effort! That is the weakness that will do him in. Obama is smart in a cunning way, and is subtle. He has studied how to deceive, how to get His way, and manipulate silly people that have been led captive. The problem is he is in his own VICIOUS CIRCLE with his deception. OBAMA can only fool some of the people some of the time, but not ALL OF THE PEOPLE – ALL OF THE TIME. That is his tripwire. What I said holds true. The arguments against immigrants, “legal” or otherwise, have been remarkably similar for well over a hundred years.
Go to your library and borrow an American History textbook. Look at the US in the late 19th, early 20th century.

1st, Robert, the REAL joke is how you think you’ve “100% defeated” anti-xenophobic arguments…that’s wrong and extremely arrogant of you to say – you should know better than that. Obviously, the national debate is nowhere near being over, and in fact has really just started. You mention the national Energy debate being “over” too, saying baseless things like that is honestly not very flattering for you. Calm your obnoxious ideological self down, and try and be a touch less arrogant and more humble in your arguments. Otherwise what’s the point? If you “know everything and all the answers”, why even bother talking with other people?
2nd, Carolyne, yes I am an atheist and cannot help thinking that people who believe in the supernatural world or gods and angels and demons from hell are more than a little f*cking crazy and/or stupid.
I was raised in a born again Xtian family, I was saved by my own will asking Jesus to be my personal lord and savior, I am fully versed in the bible (10+ years of bible) Old and New Testaments…..and since becoming a young adult I have fully rejected and denied Jesus Christ and any other false god/gods/supernatural religions.
I am not alone; there are probably millions of ex-Christians out there in the world who have basically given up religion. We think it’s the highest form of arrogance to say that we know of/practice the ONLY way to get into heaven, and that everyone else is in the world is totally wrong.
Regarding your Obama/pray to Jesus upset…are you telling me that you’ve never prayed “in Jesus name” or that you’ve never “pleaded the blood of Jesus” on anyone or anything? If you have, than how can you fault the phrase “praying to Jesus” and think it’s satanic?!? Am I asking too much of you to try and explain this clearly and rationally?

Well SFL it sounds like you must have had a serious head trauma or hardening of your heart which turned you bitter, sad to say. I do feel sorry that anyone can reject God and be OK with that. However, you know enough to know God gives us free choice. God will protect us all the way to heaven or hell as he does not force us to believe.
I will not go into the reason you were never saved by your own free will, it was only lip service, your heart was far from God. When we are born again, it is impossible to be unborn again. No, actually, I really was Saved. I accepted him into my heart, as they say, and ran with it for many years. I was a leader in my church youth group back in suburban Detroit.
A combination of things made me lose my faith, but I’m glad I woke up out of that foggy dream. Many friends and family still haven’t and probably won’t.
Like I said before, Carolyne, there are many many people who lose their faith. It’s not really as inconceivable as you think it is.

That’s absolutly just not true. For starters, this isn’t even really a place where one can have a Proper Debate on an issue. What we are doing here is commenting; and there is a huge difference between that and a real debate with defined rules.
If my arguments (the same as those in the national discusion) have been “shot down”, then why are people even bothering to talk about the issue? You’re saying that your position is 100% right and everything else is 100% wrong. So why hasn’t everyone in the nation moved on?
Because you are NOT 100% right and everyone else 100% wrong.
It takes a big, honest man to admit that he doesn’t know everything and isn’t always right on every issue. I am able to say it, are you?

I know something is lurking out there – just waiting for the s#!? to hit the fan. I refuse to listen to Russett tomorrow, and hear the lies he harps on. I do know we won’t hear the truth. Like before NBC MSM CNN will lead all they can down the garden path by making it seem Obama is ahead in the polls. The media is quickly becoming an underground media and is very bias – so the election is really not fair to the candidates or the voters.

I certainly hope not.
Many Democrats think that would be a Big mistake on Obama’s part.
However, I think he will probably choose a woman, to placate the hillary voters. My predictions, in no particular order:
1. Kathleen Sebelius – gov. of Kansas (swing state)
2. Claire McCaskill – senator of Missuri (swing state)
3. Jim Webb – senator of Virginia (would add some military boost to the ticket, and a reagan admin. official)
Just guesses, though.

#41 SFL you know very well that there is not even a single reason, one solitary reason why illegal immigration is good. Myself and others here came up with scores of reasons, of facts, of numbers, etc. why it is a net negative and all you came up with in response was to call us xenophobes, imply racism, and state in effect “that’s the way it is get used to it.”
And it is rather humorous that you would refer to rules of debate when your modus operandi is to shift the focus of the debate, get off topic, not stay on the point, etc. In a real “debate” with rules your style would likely not be allowed.
I just don’t feel like covering ground that has already been covered many times before. I am not being arrogant, I am just stating fact. And it wasn’t just by me but by many that come here.

I am not that much of a Sean fan..He tends to whine, imo, lately. He knows his material, but it is that whining that turned me off. I really don’t like Alan because he seems to take whatever position as long as it rarely agrees with Sean. I do think Sean and other Democrats/Liberals are a better team. I have seen some good shows where the left leaning guest host actually made the show better and the chemistry worked between Sean and the guest host. When Sean is gone, the guest host still walks all over him!
